INTERNATIONAL NEWSՀԴԲ-ի գործունեությունը վտանգվել է ԱՄՆ–ում դաշնային գերատեսչությունների աշխատանքի մասնակի կասեցման պատճառով, գրում է Defense One-ը:
Ներկա պահին մոտ 5000 ՀԴԲ հատուկ գործակալներ, հետախուզության վերլուծաբաններ, փաստաբաններ եւ գերատեսչության այլ աշխատակիցներ մեկնել են անվճար արձակուրդ: Այդ մասին պատմել է ՀԴԲ գործակալների ասոցիացիայի նախագահ Թոմ Օքոնորը: Ըստ նրա, այս իրավիճակը կհանգեցնի աշխատակազմի կրճատմանը եւ կազդի գերատեսչության հույժ կարեւոր գործառույթների կատարման վրա:
ՀԴԲ հատուկ գործակալը չի հստակեցրել, թե ինչպիսի հետաքննությունների վրա դա կանդրադառնա, սակայն ավելացրել է, որ ֆինանսավորման բացակայությունը վնաս է հասցրել գործակալների լիարժեք աշխատանքին:
ՀԴԲ գործակալները վստահ են, որ շաթդաունը, որն արդեն մինչ այդ եղածներից ամենաերկարն է, սպառնում է Միացյալ Նահանգների ազգային անվտանգությանը, հաղորդում է Gazeta–ն:
