Անցյալ տարում Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցած դրամատիկ իրադարձությունները էականորեն ակտիվացրեցին քաղաքական ու հասարակական կյանքը՝ մի կողմից սկիզբ դնելով արագընթաց քաղաքական փոփոխությունների, մյուս կողմից՝ հասարակական նոր սպասումների ալիք բերելով: Ապագայի, փոփոխությունների մասին մտորումները, ըստ այդմ՝ նաև քաղաքականության հանդեպ հետաքրքրությունը էականորեն աճեց ու շարունակում է աճել: Սրան զուգահեռ, սակայն, քաղաքական պայքարը չի ավարտվել, հեղափոխությունը չի հասել որևէ վերջնական հանգրվանի, ոչ իր ներքին դինամիկայի առումով, ոչ էլ արտաքին մարտահրավերների: Նախորդ իշխանական վերնախավը գուցեև չի հայտնվել նոր խորհրդարանում, կորցրել է իր վարչական ռեսուրսները, բայց միաժամանակ շարունակում է կրել ահռելի ֆինանսական կապիտալ: Այդ կապիտալի հետքերն արդեն տեսանելի են տարբեր ձևաչափերով, ինչը նշանակում է, որ այս տարին ևս քաղաքական իմաստով լինելու է բուռն:

Այս իմաստով շատ կարևոր է հասկանալ, որ  քաղաքականության հանդեպ հետաքրքրության աճին զուգահեռ ավելանալու են նաև մանիպուլյացիոն ծուղակները, որոնք շահարկվելու են քաղաքական դերակատարների կողմից:  Այս իմաստով շատ կարևոր է տարեսզկբից մի քանի մեթոդական ճշգրտումներ մտցնել:

Ճշգրտում համար 1. Այն հանգամանքը, որ հին իշխանությունները վատն էին, անպայմանորեն չի նշանակում, թե նոր իշխանությունները լավն են կամ լավն են լինելու: Նոր իշխանությունները կարող են լինել թե՛ ավելի լավը, քան նախորդները, թե՛ հավասարապես վատը՝ նախորդների նման:

Ճշգրտում համար 2. Այն հանգամանքը, որ նոր իշխանությունները վատն են, անպայմանորեն չի նշանակում, թե հին իշխանություններն էին լավը: Նորերը կարող են լինել լավ կամ վատ, արդյունավետ կամ ոչ այնքան, հաջողված կամ տապալված, բայց տարբերակներից ցանկացածի դեպքում չի նշանակում, թե նախորդ իշխանությունն էր լավը:

Իհարկե, ամեն բան համեմատության մեջ է չափելի: Բայց քաղաքական քննարկումներում մենք գործ ունենք ոչ թե խորքային համեմատությունների, այլ պրիմիտիվ, սև-սպիտակ բաժանումների հետ, որոնք կիրառվում են բոլոր կողմերից: Այս պրիմիտիվ մոտեցումները ոչ միայն փակում են խորքային համեմատության ճանապարհը, այլև ստեղծում են ծուղակներ, որոնցից դուրս գալը հաճախ դժվար է լինում: Անցած տարվա իրադարձությունների արագ ու հագեցած ընթացքը հաճախ այս ծուղակները դարձնում էր բավական պոպուլյար: Հիմա,երբ ժամանակ կա հերթական բուռն տարվա մեկնարկից առաջ շունչ քաշելու, ճիշտ ժամանակն է մեկնարկային այս ճշգրտումները արձանագրելու ու նույն ծուղակների կրկնությունից ապագայում խուսափելու համար:
