Շահեն Հարւթյունյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում, շնորհավորելով բոլորի Ամանորն ու Սուրբ Ծնունդը, անդրադարձել է նաև իր հոր՝ Շանթ Հարությույանի քաղաքական պասիվությանը: Հրապարակման մեջ մասնավորապես ասվում է. «Հարգելի՛ հայրենակիցներ։ Շատ բաներ կարող եմ գրել՝ որպես տարեվերջյան ամփոփում։ Սակայն զերծ մնալով բոլոր տեսակ ամփոփումներից, ցանկանում եմ շնորհավորել բոլորի Նոր Տարին։ Մեզ՝ բոլորիս, մաղթում եմ սիրո, խաղաղության և հաղթանակների տարի։ Ցանկանում եմ, որ տրամաբանությունը և սկզբույնքայնությունը հաղթի անմտությանն ու փոփոխականությանը։ Վերջում ավելացնեմ։ Շատերն են խոսում այն մասին, թե ինչու՞ է լռում Շանթ Հարությունյանը։ Ըստ էության, նա իր բանտային ասուլիսի ժամանակ հնարավորինս ներկայացրել է իր տեսակետները՝ կապված Հայաստանի ներքաղաքական կյանքի, հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների, արցախյան հակամարտությունում սպասվող զարգացումների, ինչպես նաև Մոսկվայի կողմից Քոչարյանի վերադարձի սցենարին։ Բայց ինչպես տեսնում ենք ներքին և արտաքին քաղաքական պրոցեսները վերցրել են գերարագ զարգացման ընթացք, ուստի եկող տարվանից՝ տոներից հետո, Շանթ Հարությունյանն արդեն հանդես կգա հանրային շփումներով, հարցրազրույցներով և կներկայացնի իր քաղաքական մոտեցումները, տեսակետները։ Այսպիսով. Շանթ Հարությունյանը եկող տարվանից կրկին կմտնի ակտիվ քաղաքական պայքարի մեջ։ Լա՛վ եղեք։ Շնորհավոր Ամանոր և Սուրբ Ծնունդ»:
