Հնդկաստանում կանայք 620 կմ երկարությամբ շարք են կազմել՝ հանուն գենդերային հավասարության

Հնդկաստանի հարավային Կերալ նահանգում միլիոնավոր կանայք շարքով 620 կիլոմետրանոց կենդանի պատ են կազմել՝ պահանջելով գենդերային հավասարություն՝ գրում է India Today հնդկական ամսագիրը։
Ամսագրի տվյալներով՝ Կերալ նահանգի 14 շրջաններից կանայք, տեղական ժամանակով 15․00-ից սկսած, հավաքվել են ավտոմայրուղու երկայնքով։ Նրանց շարքը Կասարագոդ քաղաքից ձգվել է մինչեւ Տրիվանդրում նահանգի մայրաքաղաք։
Միջոցառմանը մասնակցել են դերասանուհիներ եւ քաղաքական գործիչներ։ Ակցիային մասնակցել է մոտ 3 միլիոն կին, ինչը նշանակում է, որ այս ակցիան համարվում է կանանց ամենամեծ եւ ամենաերկար հավաքն աշխարհում։
Նշվում է, որ միջոցառումը կազմակերպել էր «Ձախ դեմոկրատական ճակատ» կոալիցիան՝ ի պաշտպանություն հնդիկների համար սրբավայր համարվող Սաբարիմալ ուխտագնացության վայրի (որտեղ գտնվում է նաեւ Այյապանա տաճարը) մասին Գերագույն դատարանի որոշման։
Հնդուիզմի երկու գլխավոր աստվածների՝ Շիվայի եւ Վիշնուի որդի Այյապանայի տաճարը գտնվում է Սաբարիմալում, որն ուխտավայր է ոչ միայն Հնդկաստանում, այլեւ ողջ աշխարհում։ Ավանդության համաձայն՝ ծննդաբերության տարիքում գտնվող հնդկուհիներին արգելվում է այցելել այդ սրբավայր՝ տաճարի սպասավոր բրահմաները պարտավոր են պահպանել իրենց աստծո իմաստնությունը, այդ պատճառով այստեղ կարող են մտնել միայն տարեց կանայք եւ փոքրիկ աղջիկները։
Դրան ուշադրություն է դարձրել Հնդկաստանի Գերագույն դատարանը, որը սեպտեմբերի վերջին կայացրած իր վճռով վերջ է դրել բազմադարյան ավանդույթին՝ նշելով, որ կանանց կրոնական վայրեր չթողնելը խախտում է նրանց սահմանադրական իրավունքը։ Հոկտեմբերի 18-22-ը սրբավայրը բաց է եղել ինչպես տղամարդկանց, այնպես էլ կանանց համար, սակայն արմատական ուխտագնացների խումբը թույլ չի տվել, որ կանայք մտնեն այնտեղ։
Գործին միջամտել է ոստիկանությունը, որը փորձել է ապահովել կանանց անվտանգությունը եւ տաճար մտնելու իրավունքը։ Դրան ի պատասխան՝ ամբոխը սկսել է քարեր եւ փայտեր նետել իրավապահների վրա, ինչից հետո բախումներ են սկսվել, որոնց մասնակցելու համար 2000 մարդ է կալանավորվել։ Դրանից հետո տաճարը փակվել է եւ նորից մի քանի օրով բացվել է նոյեմբերի 5-ին։
Այդ օրվանից իգական սեռի 10-50 տարեկան որեւէ ներկայացուցչի չի հաջողվել մտնել տաճար՝ չնայած Գերագույն դատարանի վճռին եւ ոստիկանության ջանքերին։
