ՄԱԿ-ում հաստատել են ճանապարհային երթեւեկության անվտանգության բարձրացման 10 սկզբունքները

ՄԱԿ-ի Նյու Յորքի կենտրոնակայանում նոյեմբերի 11-ին կայացել Է համաշխարհային կազմակերպության գլխավոր քարտուղարին կից Միջազգային ավտոմոբիլային ֆեդերացիայի (FIA) ճանապարհային երթեւեկության անվտանգության Բարձր մակարդակի խմբի (ԲՄԽ) առաջին նիստը:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում ընդունվել Է 10 կետից բաղկացած հռչակագիր, որոոնք կօգնեն հասնելու սեպտեմբերին ՄԱԿ-ի գագաթնաժողովում ընդունված կայուն զարգացման հանգուցային նպատակներից մեկին. մինչեւ 2020 թվականը ճանապարհներին կիսով չափ կրճատել մահացությունը, ինչպես նաեւ մինչեւ 2030 թվականը քաղաքներում ապահովել երթեւեկության անվտանգությունը:
Փաստաթղթում թվարկված միջոցառումները, մասնավորապես, նախատեսում են պայքար անսթափ վիճակում ավտոմոբիլի վարման դեմ՝ ալկոհոլային ինդուստրիայի ներգրավմամբ, արագության ռեժիմի վերահսկողության կատարելագործում, օրենսդրության արդյունավետության բարձրացում, ճանապարհների անվտանգության համար Գլոբալ հիմնադրամի ստեղծում, փոխգործակցություն մասնավոր հատվածի հետ եւ գործողությունների համակարգման ուժեղացում ինչպես միջազգային, այնպես Էլ ազգային մակարդակով:
Հռչակագրում նաեւ ընդգծված Է ենթակառուցվածքի բարելավման անհրաժեշտությունը, քանի որ բոլոր դժբախտ պատահարների 50 տոկոսը տեղի Է ունենում ճանապարհների 10 տոկոս կազմող հատվածներում:
Ելույթ ունենալով Բարձր մակարդակի խմբի նիստում՝ ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Պան Գի Մունը հայտնել Է, որ ամեն տարի ճանապարհատրանսպորտային պատահարների հետեւանքով զոհվում Է միջին հաշվով 1,25 միլիոն մարդ, ըստ որում զոհվածների 90 տոկոսը բաժին Է ընկնում ցածր եւ միջին մակարդակի եկամուտներով երկրներին, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
