«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Ամանորն, ընդհանրապես, նոր հույսերի ու սպասումների ժամանակ է, հույսեր ու սպասումներ, որոնցով ապրում են ոչ միայն Ձմեռ Պապիկին սպասող երեխաները, այլև մեծահասակները: Բոլորը գալիք տարվա հետ կապում են տարատեսակ սպասումներ, հաճախ ռացիոնալ, հաճախ իռացիոնալ: Այս իմաստով հայաստանցիների համար 2019թ. կրկնակի իմաստով է լինելու սպասումների տարի, քանի որ 2018թ. արտասովոր էր մեզ համար: Հեղափոխությունն ու իշխանափոխությունը Հայաստանում սահմանել են ահռելի սպասելիքների նշաձող: Միաժամանակ հետաձգելով շոշափելի փոփոխությունները, դրանց չիրականացումը պայմանավորելով մի դեպքում հակահեղափոխության առկայությամբ, մեկ այլ դեպքում արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններով` իշխանություններն այս տարվա կուտակված ողջ սպասումների բեռը դրել են 2019–ի վրա:

Հասարակությունը կատարել է իր բոլոր պարտականությունները հեղափոխության առջև, հերթը հիմա հեղափոխական իշխանությանն է: Կարևոր է, որպեսզի Ամանորի արձակուրդներին տիրող համեմատաբար ապաքաղաքական մթնոլորտն ու խումհարը չասոցացվի հասարակության անհոգության հետ:

Հանգստի և տոնակատարությունների օրերին հասարակությունն, իհարկե, կլինի լուռ, քիչ հետաքրքրված քաղաքականությամբ, բայց դրանից սպասելիքներն ու հույսերը չեն պակասելու, ընդհակառակը՝ ավելանալու են: Ավելանալու են ամեն հերթական կենացի, բարեմաղթանքի, ապագայի հետ կապվող ցանկության հետ:

Ընդհանրապես, կարևոր է արձանագրել, որ հասարակությունն ինքնին շատ բազմաշերտ է, ու միշտ չէ, որ նրա սպասելիքներն արտահայտվում են մեզ հայտնի քաղաքական եղանակներով: Մեծամասամբ այդ սպասելիքները անձնական, կենցաղային ու լոկալ են: Եվ այդ բազմապիսի սպասումների ընդհանուր հանրագումարը միասին է, որ դառնում է նոր Հայաստանի մասին ընդհանրական, հասարակական սպասելիք: Այս իմաստով 2019թ. իսկապես բարդ տարի է լինելու իշխանությունների համար: Այն լինելու է արագ ռիթմի ու բեկումնային փոփոխությունների տարի, այլ կերպ լինել չի կարող, այլ կերպ լինելու դեպքում նշանակում է, որ հեղափոխությունը չի հասցնում հետ2018յա ու հետամանորյա սպասումների հետևից:
