Ֆեյսբուքյան օգտատեր Աշոտ Սարգսյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում առանց անիվների մեքենայի լուսանկար է հրապարակել, որին կից գրել է․

«Առավոտը բարի չեր հարևանիս համար, մի քանի օր առաջ նույնը արել են մեկ այլ հարևանի մեքենայի հետ: Այսինքն մենք գործ ունենք սիստեմատիկ գողությունների հետ: Եթե հանցագործը վերադառնում է հանցագործության վայր, դա շատ վատ է: Ու նման տեսարանների կարող ենք հանդիպել քաղաքի տարբեր բակերում: Ոստիկանության հարգելի աշխատակիցներ այս վիճակին պետք է վերջ տրվի, չեմ կարծում, որ ժողովրդավարությունը նշանակում է ամենաթողություն»:

Ոստիկանությունն արձագանքել է Աշոտ Սարգսյանի գրառմանը՝ տարածելով հետևյալ հայտարարությունը․ 
 
«Ժամեր առաջ Ashot Sargsyan տվյալներով ֆեյսբուքյան օգտատերն իր էջում առանց անիվների մեքենայի լուսանկար է հրապարակել' նշելով, որ առավոտը բարի չէր հարևանի համար։ Օգտատիրոջ ներկայացրածով մեքենայի անիվները գողացել են։ 
 
Նախ տեղեկացնենք, որ ոստիկանությունում նշված մեքենայի անիվների գողության վերաբերյալ ահազանգ չի հնչել։ Այսուամենայնիվ, հրապարակման հիման վրա ոստիկանները հայտնաբերել են մեքենայի տիրոջը։ Վերջինս իր վրդովմունքն է հայտնել մեքենան լուսանկարելու և լուսանկարը սոցցանցում հրապարակելու կապակցությամբ։ Նա հայտնել է նաև, որ անիվները չեն գողացել. ինքն է հանել վերանորոգելու համար։ 
Ոստիկանությունը այդ օգտատիրոջը և առհասարակ բոլորին հորդորում է զարկ չտալ երևակայությանը, զերծ մնալ իրականության հետ որևէ աղերս չունեցող հրապարակումներ և մտացածին եզրահանգումներ անելուց»։
