Դատելով տարբեր շտաբներից ստացված արձագանքներից, դատելով մամուլում եղած տեղեկատվությունից, ես ինչպես եւ հույս ունեինք, կարող եմ ասել, որ ունեցանք ազատ, արդար, ժողովրդավարական, թափանցիկ ընտրություններ: Այս մասին այսօր՝ դեկտեմբերի 9-ին, «Իմ քայլը» դաշինքի շտաբում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց Առաջին փոխվարչապետ, «Իմ քայլը» դաշինքի ցուցակի երկրորդ հորիզոնականը զբաղեցնող Արարատ Միրզոյանը:

Նրա խոսքով, երկու շատ էական տարբերություն կան նախորդ ընտրությունների համեմատությամբ. «Ըընտրողների կամարտահայտման վրա որեւէ ապօրինի ճնշում  որեւէ կերպ չէր նկատվում եւ չի արձանագրվել, համակարգված ընտրությունների վրա ազդեցություն ներգործելու փորձեր չեն եղել: Ինչ խոսք, մամուլում հայտնվել են հատվածական, դիպվածային 1-2 տեղեկատվություն, հիմնականում ընտրատեղամասերի շուրջ կուտակումների վերաբերյալ եւ իրավապահ համակարգըի օգնության շնորհիվ այս հարցերը օպերատիվ լուծվել են: Սա, կարծում եմ՝ երկրորդ կարեւոր առանձնահատկությունն է, որ իրավապահ համակարգը ամբողջությամբ ծառայում էր նրան, ինչին կոչված էր ընտրությունների օրը»:

Անդրադառնալով աննախադեպ ցածր մասնակցության խնդրին, Արարատ Միրզոյանն ասաց. «Էստեղ բազում են խնդիրները: Իրականում մասնակցությունը ցածր չի, այո, բարձր չի: Երկրորդ, մենք պետք է իմանանք, թե որ թվից ենք հաշվում այդ տոկոսը: Համացանցում էլ բազմաթիվ են պնդումներն այն մասին, որ իրականում երկրում գտնվողն ընտրողների թիվն ավելի փոքր է քան ավանդաբար ընդունվել է որպես հիմք հաշվարկի համար: Այս առումով, միգուցե մի քանի տոկոս իրական պատկերը ավելի է, քան վիճակագրական տվյալները կարող են խոսել: Երրորդ, ազատ, ժողովրդավարական հասարակարգերում այնումենայնիվ, մասնակցության բարձր տոկոս չի գրանցվում: Այնպես որ, մեդալը երկու կողմ ունի»,-ասաց Արարատ Միրզոյանը:
