Երևանի քաղաքապետ Հայկ Մարությանն ընդունել է Ասիական զարգացման բանկի հայաստանյան գրասենյակի տնօրեն Շեյն Ռոզենթալի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը:

Ինչպես հայտնում են Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, կողմերը բարձր են գնահատել Ասիական զարգացման բանկի և Երևան համայնքի միջև համագործակցությունը՝ գոհունակությամբ նշելով դրա հագեցած օրակարգը: Շեյն Ռոզենթալը նկատել է, որ ԱԶԲ-ը, ֆինանսական կառույց լինելուց բացի, նաև նպաստում է ժամանակակից քաղաքային ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացմանը, «կանաչ» տնտեսության և նորարար տեխնոլոգիաների ներդրմանը միտված ծրագրերի իրագործմանը:

Ներկայումս, մասնավորապես, ԱԶԲ ֆինանսավորմամբ Երևանի տարածքում իրականացվում է բազմատրանշ ծրագիր, որի նպատակն է մայրաքաղաքի արևմտյան հատվածն ապահովել շրջանցիկ ճանապարհով: 

 
Քաղաքապետ Հայկ Մարությանը կարևորել է ԱԶԲ մասնակցությունը Երևանի ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացման գործում՝ նշելով, որ շրջանցիկ ճանապարհների կառուցումը մեծապես կնպաստի քաղաքի առանցքային խնդիրներից մեկի՝ տրանսպորտային բեռնաթափման խնդրի լուծմանը: Միևնույն ժամանակ քաղաքապետ Մարությանը շեշտել է, որ բացի այլընտրանքային ճանապարհների կառուցումից, անհրաժեշտ է նաև արմատապես բարեփոխել հանրային տրանսպորտի համակարգը, ինչպես նաև մշակել կայանատեղիների կարգավորման նոր մոտեցումներ:


Քաղաքապետը նշել է, որ տրանսպորտային բարեփոխումները քաղաքային գործող իշխանության ամենաառաջնային գերակայություններից են, որի լուծման համար պետք է ներգրավել ինչպես մասնավոր, համայնքային ու պետական միջոցներ, այնպես էլ համագործակցել միջազգային կառույցների հետ:

 
 



ԱԶԲ  գրասենյակի տնօրենը պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել գործնականում քննարկելու Երևանի տրանսպորտի համակարգի բարեփոխման ընթացքում քաղաքին տեխնիկական, խորհրդատվական և ֆինանսական աջակցություն տրամադրելու հարցը:
