Շախմատի հավաքականն անկախ Հայաստանի պատմության մեջ 11-րդ անգամ մասնակցում է Եվրոպայի առաջնությանը

Շախմատի տղամարդկանց հավաքականն անկախ Հայաստանի պատմության մեջ 11-րդ անգամ մասնակցում է Եվրոպայի թիմային առաջնությանը: Իսլանդիայի մայրաքաղաք Ռեյկյավիկում նոյեմբերի 12-22-ն անցկացվելիք Եվրոպայի թիմային առաջնությանում հանդես կգան 36 հավաքականներ, որոնցից հիմնական ֆավորիտներն են Ռուսաստանի, Ուկրաինայի, Ֆրանսիայի, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի, Հայաստանի, Հունգարիայի, Լեհաստանի, Նիդեռլանդների և Ադրբե ջանի թիմերը:
Հայաստանի հավաքականի կազմում հանդես կգան Լևոն Արոնյանը, Գաբրիել Սարգսյանը, Սերգեյ Մովսիսյանը, Հրանտ Մելքումյանը և Հայաստանի գործող չեմպիոն Կարեն Գրիգորյանը:
Եվրոպայի առաջնության բացման պաշտոնական արարողությունը կկայանա նոյեմբերի 13-ին, որին էլ կհաջորդի առաջին տուրը: Մասնակից հավաքականները կխաղան 9 տուր:
Եվրոպայի առաջնության պատմությունից
Շախմատի Եվրոպայի առաջնությունն անցկացվում է հեռավոր 1957 թվականից ի վեր: Առաջին մրցաշարում այդ ժամանակների շախմատային գերտերություն` Սովետական Միությունն իր բարձր կարգը հաստատեց Եվրոպայում: Եվ դրան հաջորդող 8 առաջնություններում էլ սովետական շախմատային «մեքենան» աշխատեց առանց վրիպման և միշտ մնաց առաջին հորիզոնականում: Այդ հավաքականների կազմում իր փայլուն պարտիաներով աչքի ընկավ հայկական շախմատի դեռևս միակը` աշխարհի 9-րդ չեմպիոն Տիգրան Պետրոսյանը:
Սովետական միության փլուզումից հետո 1992 թվականին կայացած Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում առաջին տեղում Ռուսաստանի թիմն էր: 1997 թվականի առաջնությունում, որը հյուրընկալեց խորվաթական Պուլա քաղաքը, Հայաստանի հավաքականը զբաղեցրեց 3-րդ հորիզոնականը: Իսկ ահա 2 տարի անց (1997 թվականից ի վեր Եվրոպայի առաջնությունն անցկացվում է 2 տարին մեկ անգամ) Հայաստանի տղամարդկանց հավաքականը Բաթումում անգերազանցելի էր: Այդ թիմի կազմում հանդես էին գալիս սմբատ Լպուտյանը, Արտաշես Մինասյանը, Աշոտ Անաստասյանը, Լևոն Արոնյանը և հավաքականի ներկայիս գլխավոր մարզիչ Արշակ Պետրոսյանը:
Եվրոպայի առաջնությունների ընթացքում մեր հավաքականը 2007 թվականին հին աշխարհամասի առաջնությունում նվաճեց արծաթե մեդալ:
