«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Սասուն Միքայել յանի հայտնի հայտարարությունից հետո արցախյան խնդիրը դարձել է նախընտրական քարոզարշավի հիմնական թեմաներից մեկը: Նորմալ կլիներ, որ արցախյան խնդիրը քննարկվեր քաղաքական ուժերի կողմից ծրագրերի, հայեցակարգերի բանավեճի կոնտեքստում: Սակայն գործ ունենք առավելապես ոչ թե քննարկման, այլ շահարկումների հետ: 

Հասկանալի է, որ շատ հարցեր այս օրերին ներկայացվում են առավել սուր երանգներով՝ ընտրողներին գրավելու համար: Տրվում են հաճախ անիրականանալի խոստումներ, արվում են քննադատություններ, որոնք առավել հանդարտ պայմաններում չէին արվի: Բայց Արցախն ու արցախյան խնդիրն ընդհանրապես շահարկելը քարոզարշավի ընթացքում, առավել ևս այն պայմաններում, երբ չկա այդ խնդրի մասին որևէ խորքային–բովանդակային բանավեճ, նշանակում է ոչ միայն ի ցույց դնել քաղաքական խոսքի սնանկությունն ու այն կարևորագույն ու բարդ թեմայով լցնելու տխուր միտումը, այլև ստեղծել որոշակի ներքին և արտաքին լարում Արցախի շուրջ:

Արցախի խնդիրը բավական ցավոտ է ընկալվում թե՛ Հայաստանում, թե՛ Արցախի Հանրապետությունում, ընդ որում, բոլոր մակարդակներում՝ թե՛ վերնախավերի, թե՛ հասարակության: Այս ցավոտ շահարկումներից ոչ միայն հնարավոր չէ շահել նախընտրական դիվիդենտներ, ընդհակառակը, կա վտանգ լարվածություն մտցնելու Հայաստանի և Արցախի միջև, ինչպես նաև ստեղծել խոցելի տեղեկատվական ֆոն Հայաստանում ընթացող գործընթացների շուրջ, որը, բնականաբար, ուրախությամբ կընդունեն թշնամական Բաքվում:

Որևէ կերպ չարդարացնելով Սասուն Միքայել յանի հայտնի հայտարարությունը, միաժամանակ հասկանալով հանդերձ, որ Հայաստանի ու Արցախի միջև կան որոշակի տարընթերցումներ, որոնք առաջացել են թավշյա հեղափոխությունից հետո, չենք կարող չարձանագրել, որ սա այն թեման չէ, որ այսպիսի անփութությամբ շահարկվի նախընտրական քարոզարշավի ընթացքում: Այս իմաստով հատկանշական է նախօրեին Արա Բաբլոյանի հնչեցրած հորդորը՝ Արցախի հարցով քննարկումների նման տոնայնությունը բացառել քարոզարշավի ընթացքում: Հուսանք՝ գոնե քարոզարշավի կեսից այս հորդորը լսելի կդառնա:
