 Նոր ձևավորվող Հանրային խորհրդում ամենամեծ հանձնաժողովը Գիտության, կրթության, մշակույթի, երիտասարդության և սպորտի հարցերի հանձնաժողովն է, որի կազմում ընդգրկված է ավելի քան երեք հարյուր անդամ։ Այսօր տեղի է ունեցել հանձնաժողովի առաջին նիստը, որի ընթացքում հանձնաժողովի նախագահի թեկնածու է առաջադրվել հանձնաժողովի 6 անդամ՝ Կարինե Թումանյանը, Ժասմեն Ասրյանը, Անահիտ Բախշյանը, Գագիկ Մանասյանը, Գևորգ Գևորգյանը և Արտուշ Ղուկասյանը
 
Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին  Հանրային խորհրդի լրատվակաան ծառայությունից, հանձնաժողովի նախագահի թեկնածուներն իրենց ելույթներում անդրադարձել են կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի ոլորտներում առկա խնդիրներին, ներկայացրել ոլորտների զարգացման իրենց տեսլականն ու ծրագրերը, Հանրային խորհրդում դրանց իրականացման հնարավորությունները, ինչպես նաև պատասխանել ներկաների հարցերին։ Այնուհետև տեղի է ունեցել հանձնաժողովի նախագահի փակ, գաղտնի քվեարկություն, որի արդյունքում նախագահ է ընտրվել Գագիկ Մանասյանը։ Վերջինս Հայաստանի պետական ֆիլհարմոնիայի տնօրենն է, մանկավարժական գիտությունների թեկնածու, դոցենտ, ղեկավարել է Հանրային խորհրդի մշակույթի ենթահանձնաժողովը։
 
Իր ելույթում անդրադառնալով Հանրային խորհրդի մշակույթի ենթահանձնաժողովի նախորդ տարիների կատարած աշխատանքին՝ Գագիկ Մանասյանը ներկայացրել է դրական օրինակներ պետական քաղաքականության վրա ազդեցության տեսանկյունից։ Նա նշել է, որ հանձնաժողովը պետք է դառնա ոլորտում առկա ցանկացած խնդրահարույց հարցի քննարկման հարթակ, բացի այդ պետք է շարունակվեն նախկինում քննարկված և կիսատ մնացած հարցերն ու ծրագրերը։ Մանասյանն անդրադարձել է նաև գիտության, կրթության խնդիրներին, խոսել երիտասարդության մասին, սպորտի զարգացման գործում կարևորել ֆիզիկական կուլտուրայի մասսայականացումը և այլն։
 
Այսօրվա նիստը նախագահել է Հանրային խորհրդի նախագահ Վազգեն Մանուկյանը։ Նա տեսակետ է հայտնել, որ առավել արդյունավետ կլինի, եթե հետագայում ՀԽ  Գիտության, կրթության, մշակույթի, երիտասարդության և սպորտի հարցերի հանձնաժողովը բաժանվի երկու մասի,  և գիտական ու կրթական ոլորտներն առանձնացվեն մշակույթից, երտասարդությունից ու սպորտից։
 
Մանուկյանը խոսել է նաև Հանրային խորհրդի դերի և ազդեցության մասին՝ ընդգծելով, որ խորհրդի արդյունավետ գործունեությունը մեծապես կախված է հանձնաժողովների և ենթահանձնաժողովների ակտիվ աշխատանքից։
