Արմեն Սարգսյանն ուղերձ է հղել Լոս Անջելեսում ընթացող միջազգային հայագիտական գիտաժողովի մասնակիցներին
SOCIETYՀայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանն ուղերձ է հղել նոյեմբերի 16-18-ին Լոս Անջելեսում ընթացող «Թաքնված գանձեր. Արևելյան Եվրոպայի հայկական արվեստն ու մշակույթը» միջազգային հայագիտական գիտաժողովի մասնակիցներին:
Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Նախագահը մասնավորապես նշել է, որ Հայաստանը մեծապես կարևորում է աշխարհով մեկ սփռված հայկանան մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանմանը, ուսումնասիրմանն ու ներկայացմանն ուղղված աշխատանքներն ու միջոցառումները:
«Հայկական մշակութային ժառանգությունը, հատկապես` եվրոպական տարածքում, մաս է կազմում ընդհանուր այն արժեքների, որոնք մենք այսօր համատեղ կիսում ենք: Այդ ժառանգությունը հարստացնում է նաև դրանց կրողների ինքնությունը` դարձնելով անհատին հոգեպես ավելի զարգացած, ընկալող, պատրաստ ուրիշին լսելու և հարգելու:
Բազմամշակույթ միջավայրում ապրելու կենսափորձի, հմտությունների և գիտելիքների շնորհիվ հայերը նպաստել են իրենց բնակության երկրների զարգացմանը և առաջընթացին, դարձել ժամանակի միջազգային առևտրի և ապրանքափոխանակումների անշրջանցելի գործոն, և այդ հանգամանքը նստվածք է թողել հայերի մտածողության, հոգեբանության ու վարքագծի, ինչպես նաև ազդել Հայաստանի քաղաքական ճակատագրի վրա:
Այսօր, երբ Հայաստանն իր պատմական տարածքների մի փոքր մասի վրա վերահաստատել է 100 տարի առաջ ձեռք բերած անկախությունը, արդի հայ հասարակության կառուցման և ապագայի տեսակետից կարևորություն է ստանում հայ ժողովրդի քաղաքակրթական անցյալի վերհանումն ու ուսումնասիրումը, նրա պատմության ամբողջացումը: Հույս ունեմ, որ այն պիտի օգնի մեզ՝ ժամանակակից հայերիս, դրսում թե ներսում, ավելի լավ հասկանալու ովքեր ենք մենք, որտեղից ենք գալիս և ուր ենք գնում»,-նշել է նախագահը՝ շնորհակալություն հայտնելով կազմակերպիչներին ու արդյունավետ աշխատանք մաղթելով գիտաժողովի մասնակիցներին:
«Թաքնված գանձեր. Արեւելյան Եվրոպայի հայկական արվեստն ու մշակույթը» միջազգային գիտաժողովը կազմակերպել է Կալիֆոռնիայի համալսարանի (UCLA) Նարեկացի հայագիտական ամբիոնը՝ Փոլ Գետտի թանգարանի հետ համագործակցությամբ: Համակարգողը հայտնի հայագետ Փիթեր Քոուն է: Գիտաժողովին մասնակցում են բնագավառի հայտնի մասնագետներ մեկ տասնյակից ավելի երկրներից, այդ թվում՝ Հայաստանից:
