Նոյեմբերի 11-ին ամբողջ աշխարհում միլիոնավոր մարդիկ են նշել Առաջին համաշխարհային պատերազմի ավարտի հարյուրամյակը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին: Բրիտանիայում Գրինվիչի ժամանակով ժամը 11-ին երկու րոպե լռությամբ հիշել են զոհվածներին, արքայազն Չառլզը թագուհու անունից, որը պատշգամբից դիտել Է արարողությունը, Ուայթհոլում ծաղկեպսակ Է դրել Քենոտաֆի մոտ:

Գերմանիայի նախագահ Ֆրանկ Վալտեր Շտայնմայերը դարձել Է Գերմանիայի առաջին ղեկավարը, որը նույնպես ծաղկեպսակ Է դրել այդ հուշարձանին: Այնուհետեւ հազարավոր մարիկ, ինչպես նաեւ տարբեր ռազմական հակամարտությունների վետերաններ եւ Առաջին աշխարհամարտի զինվորների հարազատներ երթով անցել են Անհայտ զինվորի գերեզմանի մոտով: Եղիսաբեթ Բ թագուհին Վեսթմինսթերի աբբայությունում այցելել Է Զինադադարի օրվա հարյուրամյակի առթիվ կայացած հիշատակման ժամերգություն, նրան են միացել արքայազն Չառլզը, Քոռնուոլի դքսուհին, Քեմբրիջի եւ Սասեքսի դուքսերը եւ դքսուհիները:

Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնն Առաջին համաշխարհային պատերազմի ավարտի 100-ամյակի առթիվ Փարիզում ընդունել Է պետությունների եւ կառավարությունների շուրջ 70 ղեկավարների: Աշխարհի առաջատար քաղաքական գործիչների հետ զանգի ղողանջների ներքո նա ծաղկեպսակներ Է դրել Հաղթության կամարի մոտ Անհայտ զինվորի գերեզմանին: Առաջին համաշխարհային պատերազմի ավարտի հարյուրամյակի առթիվ արարողություններ են տեղի ունեցել նաեւ Ավստրալիայում:

Կանբերայում Ազգային զինվորական հուշահամալիրի մոտ տեղի Է ունեցել վետերաների շքերթ, Ադելաիդայում ինքնաթիռից կակաչի հազարավոր թղթե ծաղիկներ են նետվել զոհվածների հիշատակին: Նոր Զելանդիայի մայրաքաղաք Վելինգտոնում կատարվել Է հրետանային սալյուտ: Հիշատակի միջոցառումներ են տեղի ունեցել նաեւ Հնդկաստանում, որը 74 հազար զինվոր Է կորցրել Եվրոպայի մարտի դաշտերում:
