Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիեւը վերստին հայտարարում է ռազմական ներուժը հզորացնելու և ղարաբաղյան խնդիրը ցանկացած, այդ թվում՝ պատերազմով կարգավորելու պատրաստակամության մասին:

«Մենք ոչ մի տարբերակ չենք բացառում», - երեկ Աղդամի շրջանում հայտարարել է Իլհամ Ալիևը: - «Մենք այսուհետ ևս զարգացնելու ենք մեր ռազմական հնարավորությունները, և կարծում եմ, որ դա բանակցությունների կարևորագույն գործոններից է, քանի որ, ցավոք, միջազգային իրավունքի նորմերը լիովին անտեսվում են: Մենք կհասնենք մեր ցանկացած արդյունքին, մենք պահանջում ենք, որ մեր պատմական հողերն ազատագրվեն օկուպանտներից, և այդպես էլ կլինի»:

Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հետ սեպտեմբերին Դուշանբեում ունեցած կարճատև զրույցից հետո, որի ընթացքում կողմերը պայմանավորվել էին նվազեցնել լարվածությունը շփման գծում և ուղիղ կապ հաստատել, Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարությունը խուսափում էր ռազմատենչ հայտարարություններից, գրում է Ազատությունը:

Երեկ, սակայն, Իլհամ Ալիևը վերստին պնդել է, թե Բաքուն պատրաստ է ղարաբաղյան խնդրի կարգավորման ցանկացած տարբերակի․ - «Հուսով եմ, որ Հայաստանի իշխանությունը, ճիշտ վերլուծելով տարածաշրջանում ստեղծված իրադրությունը, ամենամոտ ժամանակում դուրս կբերի իր օկուպացիոն զորքերը մեր հողերից: Հակառակ դեպքում հնարավոր է կարգավորման ցանկացած տարբերակ, մենք պատրաստ ենք ցանկացած լուծման: Ես բազմիցս նշել եմ, հիմա էլ կրկնում եմ՝ մենք ապագայում ևս մեկուսացնելու ենք Հայաստանին բոլոր տարածաշրջանային նախագծերևից և, օգտագործելով բոլոր միջոցները, վերականգնելու ենք մեր տարածքային ամբողջականությունը»:

Հայաստանի նոր ղեկավարության հետ դեմ առ դեմ հանդիպման հնարավորության մասին Ալիևը չի խոսել, բայց պնդել է, թե «Հայաստանի նոր իշխանությունները չպետք է կրկնեն նախորդ վարչակազմի սխալները»:

«Նրանք պետք է բանակցություններրի միջոցով դուրս բերեն օկուպացիոն զորքերը գրավյալ տարածքներից և հնարավորություն տան Ադրբեջանի քաղաքացիներին վերադառնալ իրենց հարազատ ու պատմական բնակավայրերը», - ասել է Ալիևը՝ հավելելով․ - «Որքան շուտ նրանք կհասկանան դա, այդքան լավ իրենց համար ու տարածաշրջանի համար: Եվս մեկ անգամ ուզում եմ ասել՝ մենք մտադիր չենք համակերպվել այս իրավիճակի հետ»:

Պաշտոնական Ստեփանակերտից հաղորդում են, որ այսօրվանից Պաշտպանության բանակի կենտրոնական ենթակայության մի շարք զորամասերում մեկնարկել են մարտավարական զորավարժություններ, որոնք կշարունակվեն մինչև այս շաբաթավերջ: Չորս փուլով անցկացվելիք զորախաղերը, ըստ հաղորագրության, կավարտվեն «Մխրճված հակառակորդի ջախջախումը, առաջնագծի վերականգնումը, հարձակման զարգացումը և բարենպաստ բնագծերի գրավումը» թեմայով զորավարժությամբ:

Մինչ այդ, երեկ Հայաստանի վարչապետի պաշտոնակատար Նկոլ Փաշինյանն էր այցելել Արցախ և տեղի իշխանությունների հետ քննարկել Պաշտպանության բանակի մարտունակության բարձրացմանը, Արցախի և Հայաստանի ռազմական փոխգործակցությանը, սահմաններում տիրող իրավիճակին վերաբերող հարցեր:
