Կառավարությունը շարունակում է ջանքերը հայ-իրանական երկաթուղու շինարարության ծրագիրը կյանքի կոչելու համար: Կառավարությունը ներդրողներ է փնտրում, ովքեր կհամաձայնեն մասնակցել երկաթուղու կառուցման և շահագործման աշխատանքներին:

Այս մասին Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց ՀՀ տրանսպորտի և կապի նախարար Գագիկ Բեգլարրյանը: «Գիտեք, այդ ծրագրի համար մեծ ֆինանսական միջոցներ են հարկավոր: Եթե Հայաստանն ունենար այդ միջոցները, մենք վաղուց այդ ծրագիրը սկսած կլինեինք: Դա բավականին մեծ ծրագիր է, որի համար հարկավոր են ֆինանսական լուրջ միջոցներ և ժամանակ»,-  ասաց նախարարը:

Բեգլարյանը նկատեց, որ այդ ուղղությամբ տարվող աշխատանքները դեպի լավն են գնում՝ հավելելով, որ ծրագիրը մեծ է, որի իրականացման համար ժամանակ և ֆինանսական միջոցներ են  հարկավոր: «Ես ինչո՞ւ հստակ բան չեմ նշում, որովհետև ամեն մի այցի ժամանակ ինչ-որ նոր բան է փոխվում: Կարող եմ ասել, որ դրական տեղաշարժ կա: Այս պահին ամենաառաջնային խնդիրը հենց ֆինանսականն է»,- նշեց նախարարը՝ հավելելով, որ Իրանի փոխվարչապետի` Հայաստան կատարած այցի շրջանակում էլ իրանական կողմն իր դրական վերաբերմունքն է արտահայտտել հայ-իրանական երկաթուղու կառուցման վերաբերյալ:

Հարցին, թե Ռուսաստանը չի՞ խոչընդոտում այդ ծրագրի իրականացմանը, Գագիկ Բեգլարյանը բացասական պատասխան տվեց՝ ևս մեկ անգամ հավելելով, որ առաջնային խնդիրը ֆինանսականն է, իսկ մնացած պայմանավորվածությունները ձեռք են բերվում քաղաքական բանակցությունների արդյունքում:
