Նրա խոսքով՝ հանքերի ստեղծած վտանգը հարատև է, իսկ դրանց հակադրվող օգուտը, այն է՝ աշխատատեղերի ստեղծումը՝ ժամանակավոր, ինչը պատճառ է դարձել, որ մի շարք արդյունաբերական երկրներում հրաժարվեն հանքարդյունաբերությունից կամ էլ էականորեն կրճատեն շահագործվող հանքերի քանակը:
