ԱԱ-2018. Դավիթ Սաֆարյանը տպավորիչ հաղթանակով դուրս եկավ քառորդ եզրափակիչ
SPORT2013թ. աշխարհի ու Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն Դավիթ Սաֆարյանը նվաճեց Հունգարիայի մայրաքաղաք Բուդապեշտում շարունակվող ազատ ոճի ըմբշամարտի աշխարհի առաջնության քառորդ եզրափակիչի ուղեգիր:
Երկրորդ գոտեմարտում 70 կգ քաշային Սաֆարյանը ժամանակից շուտ 10:0 հաշվով հաղթեց Իսրայելի ներկայացուցիչ Էրմաչ Հասանովին: Հայ ըմբիշը պայքարը սկսել էր որակավորման փուլից, որտեղ 4:1 հաշվով հաղթել էր հունգարացի Նորբերտ Լուկաշին: Կիսաեզրափակիչի ուղեգիրը Դավիթ Սաֆարյանը կվիճարկի բելառուս Ադամ Բատիրովի հետ:
Նախօրեին պայքարի մեջ մտած ու մեկնարկային փուլում պարտություն կրած Միհրան Ջաբուրյանը (57 կգ) հնարավորություն էր ստացել պայքարել բրոնզե մեդալի համար, քանի որ հայ ըմբիշին 10:0 հաշվով հաղթած ռուսաստանցի Զավուր Ուգուեւը դուրս է եկել եզրափակիչ: Առաջին սփոփիչ գոտեմարտում Ջաբուրյանը 3:6 հաշվով պարտվեց կուբացի Անդրեու Օրտեգային եւ լքեց պայքարը:
Հոկտեմբերի 22-ին պայքարի մեջ է մտել նաեւ Հայաստանի մեկ այլ ներկայացուցիչ Գեորգի Կետոեւը (97 կգ), որը որակավորման փուլում պարտվել է ղազախ Մամեդ Իբրագիմովին (2:2): Եթե ղազախ ըմբիշը հասնի եզրափակիչ, Կետոեւը հնարավորություն կստանա պայքարել բրոնզե մեդալի համար:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Հաբեթնակ Կուրղինյանի գլխավորած ազատ ոճի ըմբշամարտի Հայաստանի հավաքականի կազմում հանդես էին եկել նաեւ Վալոդյա Ֆրանգուլյանը (65 կգ), Վալտեր Մարգարյանը (74 կգ) եւ Գրիգոր Գրիգորյանը (79 կգ), որոնք մեդալ չէին նվաճել: Գրիգորյանը 2 հաղթանակներից հետո պարտություն էր կրել քառորդ եզրափակիչում:
