Ինչպես հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, ժամը 00:30-ի սահմաններում նշված բժշկական կենտրոնից հայտնել են, որ «ձախ ստորին փափուկ հյուսվածքներից օտար մարմին» ախտորոշմամբ նշված կենտրոն է տեղափոխվել մի երեխա:
Ֆոտոլրագրողի տեղեկություններով՝ հիվանդանոց է մեկնել ոստիկանության Բազումի բաժնի օպերատիվ խումբը՝ քրեական հետախուզության բաժանմունքի օպերլիազորի գլխավորությամբ:
Ոստիկանները պարզել են, որ վիրավորը Վանաձոր քաղաքի բնակիչ, 14-ամյա Գ. Շ.-ն է, ում հայրը ոստիկաններին հայտնել է, որ երեխան վնասվածքը ստացել է հոկտեմբերի 15-ին, տանը, իրեն պատկանող «ՏԻՐ» տեսակի օդաճնշիչ հրացանը լիցքավորելու ժամանակ և երեխան անզգուշաբար կրակել ու ինքն իրեն վնասել է:
