«Փաստ» օրաթերթը (հեղինակ՝ Աննա Բադալյան) գրում է.

Երևանի ավագանու «Իմ քայլը» դաշինքի անդամ, Հովհաննես Թումանյանի տուն– թանգարանի տնօրեն Նարինե Թուխիկյանի համոզմամբ, Երևանը բազմաբնույթ խնդիրներ ունի և այդ խնդիրներին լուծումներ գտնելու համար աշխատանքները պետք է զուգահեռաբար տարվեն: Այդուհանդերձ, «Փաստ»–ի հետ զրույցում Նարինե Թուխիկյանը շեշտեց այն կարևոր հանգամանքը, որն, իր համոզմամբ, առաջնային պետք է լինի ավագանու նոր կազմի համար: 

«Ամենակարևորն արդար կառավարումն է: Ինչ ուղղությամբ էլ որ գնանք, առաջին հերթին կամ զուգահեռաբար ամենուրեք պետք է հենց այդ փաստը ֆիքսենք. արդար կառավարում և արդար մոտեցումներ բոլոր տեսակի հարցերում: Արդար կառավարումը մեր բանալին է»,–ասաց Նարինե Թուխիկյանը:

Հարցին, թե արդյո՞ք կան առաջարկներ, որոնք նա կներկայացնի, Նարինե Թուխիկյանը պատասխանեց. «Մեկ նիստ եղավ, բայց դա ավելի շատ տեխնիկական էր: Հիմա մենք հանձնաժողովով պետք է հավաքվենք, և ես հրատապ երկու հարց ունեմ: Այժմ չեմ ուզում խոսել այդ հարցերի մասին, պետք է աշխատենք օրակարգ մտցնել և շուտափույթ գործընթաց սկսել դրանց լուծման ուղղությամբ»:

Թեև ավագանու անդամը հարցերի մասին դեռ չբարձրաձայնեց, բայց նշեց, որ երկուսն էլ կապված են արդարության հետ և ավելի շատ բարոյամշակութային նշանակություն ունեն: Հարցին, թե ինչպիսի՞ Երևան պետք է ունենանք ըստ Նարինե Թուխիկյանի, ավագանու անդամը պատասխանեց.

«Մեր աշխատանքը պետք է լինի շտկել բոլոր այն թերացումներն ու արհավիրքները, որոնք տեղի են ունեցել, իսկ այդ ամբողջ գործընթացը չի կարող լինել, եթե անարդար կառավարում լինի: Մեր խնդիրն արդար կառավարումն է, հասարակության խնդիրներն արդար ձևով վեր հանելը և դրանց լուծումներ գտնելը: Իհարկե, հասարակությունը ևս այս դեպքում պետք է մեծ գործ կատարի: Անշուշտ, կան անհատական խնդիրներ, և դրանք բազմաթիվ են: Շատ դեպքերում հասարակության անդամները չեն զանազանում անհատական, համայնքային և նույնիսկ ավելի նեղ անձնական խնդիրներն ավելի գլոբալ հարցերից: Այդ անհատական խնդիրները մեծ խնդիրների մի մասնիկն են: Իսկ երբ այդ հարցերը դրվում են գլոբալ համատեքստում, այսինքն, երբ մենք թիրախավորում ենք գլոբալ խնդիրները, ինքնըստինքյան լուծվում են նաև մյուս հարցերը»:

Ինչ վերաբերում է դեռ նախորդ համակարգի տարիներից Երևանի քաղաքապետարանում աշխատող անձանց և պաշտոն զբաղեցնողների հետ համատեղ աշխատելուն, Նարինե Թուխիկյանն իր դիրքորոշումը հայտնեց.

«Քաղաքապետարանում իսկապես կան բանիմաց մարդիկ, ովքեր, հավանաբար, ևս համակարգի զոհն են եղել: Նաև մեր քաղաքապետի հետ ունեցած նախկին հավաքներից, զրույցներից ելնելով ասեմ, որ պրոֆեսիոնալ կադրերին ձեռք տալ չի կարելի: Պրոֆեսիոնալ կադրեր, ովքեր, անշուշտ, մեծ հանցագործությունների մեջ թաթախված չեն եղել: Այնպես որ՝ բանիմաց կադրերի ներուժն անպատճառ կօգտագործվի: Երևի կլինեն մարդիկ, ովքեր կկանգնեն դատարանի առաջ: Ես հիմա չեմ կարող որևէ կոնկրետ բան ասել, բայց յուրաքանչյուր ուղղությամբ պետք է աշխատել, և այն պրոֆեսիոնալները, ովքեր պատրաստ են այսուհետ ծառայել Երևանին, նրանք, անշուշտ, օգտակար կլինեն և կաշխատեն»:

Ինչ վերաբերում է արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին, ստեղծված ներքաղաքական իրավիճակին, մեր զրուցակիցը նշեց. «Ուր էլ լինեմ, ինչ պաշտոն էլ որ զբաղեցնեմ, շարունակելու եմ աջակցել հեղափոխության շարունակականությանը: Հոկտեմբերի 2–ին առկա ճգնաժամը կայծակնային ձևով խորացավ, բայց, բարեբախտաբար, լուծումը գտնվեց: Ողջամիտ քայլեր ձեռնարկվեցին բոլոր կողմերից: Հիմա խաաղ վիճակ է, և բոլոր քաղաքական ուժերը պետք է պատրաստվեն, ուժեղանան համապետական ընտրությունների համար: Ճիշտ է, ժամանակը սուղ է, բայց շատ կարևոր է, որ նոր լիդերներ ևս ի հայտ գան, իսկ պատմություն ունեցող քաղաքական ուժերն ընտրություններին ընդառաջ վերանայեն իրենց քաղաքականությունը»:
