INTERNATIONAL NEWSՄիացյալ Ազգերի Կազմակերպությունը նախազգուշացրել է, որ Եմենում ռազմական գործողությունների չդադարեցման դեպքում երկրում կլինի վերջին 100 տարվա ընթացքում աշխարհում ամենասոսկալի սովը:
Ինչպես նշում է The Guardian-ը, ՄԱԿ-ը նախազգուշացրել է, որ գալիք երեք ամսում երկրում կարող է համատարած սով տիրել՝ 13 մլն մարդու սովամահ լինելու վտանգի առաջ կանգնեցնելով:
ՄԱԿ-ի մարդասիրական առաքելության՝ Եմենի հարցերով համակարգող Լիզ Գրանդեն դիմել է Սաուդյան Արաբիայի աջակցությունը վայելող կոալիցիային՝ կոչ անելով վերջ տալ շիա ընդդիմադիրների դեմ ուղղված ավիահարվածներին:
«Կարծում եմ՝ մեզնից շատերի մտքով չէր էլ անցնում, որ 21-րդ դարում կարող են սովամահության շեմին գտնվող երկրներ լինել: Դա անթույլատրելի է»,- ասել է նա:
Բրիտանական պարբերականը մանրամասնում է, որ արդեն երեք տարի է, ինչ Եմենում արյունալի քաղաքացիական պատերազմ է Իրանի աջակցությունը վայելող հութի զինյալների ու Սաուդյան Արաբիայի աջակցությունը վայելող իշխանական կոալիցիայի միջև:
Հութիները գրավել են երկրի մեծ մասը, իսկ այժմ բախումներ են ընթանում Հոդեյդահ քաղաքի ու դրա նավահանգստի համար:Հայտնի է, որ այդ նավահանգստի միջոցով է ՄԱԿ-ը մարդասիրական օգնություն հասցնում Եմեն, սակայն մարտական գործողություններն ամեն ինչ բարդացնում են:
Հավելենք, որ քաղաքացիական պատերազմի ընթացքում ավելի քան 10.000 մարդ է զոհվել:
