 Հոկետմբերի 11-12-ն տեղի է ունեցել ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի Արման Թաթոյանի այցն Արցախ: Այցի ընթացքում տեղի են ունեցել հանդիպումներ Նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանի, Արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մասիս Մայիլյանի, Արցախի թեմի առաջնորդ Պարգև սրբազանի և Արցախի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմի հետ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմի հանրային կապերի բաժնից, Հանդիպումների ընթացքում քննարկվել են Արցախի մեր հայրենակիցների իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը, այդ հարցում համագործակցությանն առնչվող կարևոր հարցեր:

Սկզբունքը հստակ է. չի կարող տարածքի քաղաքական կարգավիճակը խոչընդոտ դառնալ իրավունքների պաշտպանության համար: Միջազգային իրավապաշտպան կառույցները պետք է ընդունեն հանրահայտ այս սկզբունքը, որն ընկած է հենց այդ կառույցների ստեղծման հիմքում: Արցախում էլ են բնակվում մարդիկ՝ կանայք, երեխաներ, հաշմանդամություն ունեցողներ, որոնց պաշտպանությունը, իրավունքների երաշխավորումը չպետք է կախվածության մեջ դրվի տարածքի կարգավիճակից:

Արցախի քաղաքացիական հասարակությունը, Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանը պետք է ներգրավված լինեն մարդու իրավունքներին առնչվող միջազգային գործընթացներին: Պետք է ակտիվ լինեն նաև միջազգային իրավապաշտպանների այցերն Արցախ: Այս խնդիրները պահանջում են բոլորիս միասնական ու անընդհատ ջանքերը: Տարվող աշխատանքը պետք է լինի ապաքաղաքական ու բարձր պրոֆեսիոնալ՝ սփյուռքի մեր հայրենակիցների ու միջազգային կառույցների հետ կապերի ճկուն գործադրմամբ:

Այս բոլոր հարցերում առանցքային է Արցախի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի դերը: Վստահ ենք, որ այս կառույցի աշխատանքը շարունակվելու է լինել արդյունավետ: Հայաստանի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմը կգործադրի բոլոր ջանքերը ձևավորված ամուր համագործակցությունը զարգացնելու համար:
