Արարատի մարզի Վեդի քաղաքի 20–ամյա բնակիչներ Սմբատ Սաֆարյանը եւ Սարգիս Կիրակոսյանը մեղադրվում են պարտադիր զինծառայության ընթացքում իրենց վաշտի հրամանատար Վահան Հարությունյանին ծեծի ենթարկելու համար։

Ըստ մեղադրական եզրակացության` ՀՀ ՊՆ N զորամասի մոտոհրաձգային վաշտի 1-ին ջոկի ավագ մեխանիկ-վարորդ Սմբատ Սաֆարյանը եւ շարքային Սարգիս Կիրակոսյանը  2015թ. ապրիլի 15-ին, ժամը 19:30-ի սահմաններում, զորավարժարանի սպայական սենյակում իրենց հասանելիք քանակից ավելի ձու չտալու կապակցությամբ վիճաբանել են նույն վաշտի հրամանատար, կապիտան Վահան Հարությունյանի հետ և ծեծի ենթարկել վերջինին։

Սմբատ Սաֆարյանը սկզբում բռունցքով հարվածել և մահճակալին է գցել վաշտի հրամանատարին, ապա Սարգիս Կիրակոսյանի հետ շարունակել են ձեռքերով հարվածներ հասցնել նրա մարմնի տարբեր մասերին` պատճառելով մարմնական վնասվածքներ:

Բացի այդ, 2015թ. ապրիլի 18-ին ժամը 17:30-ի սահմաններում, զորամասի հսկիչ անցագրային կետում վերը նշված միջադեպի հետ կապված խոսելու ժամանակ Սմբատ Սաֆարյանը կրկին վիճաբանել է կապիտան Վահան Հարությունյանի հետ, որի ընթացքում ծեծել է վերջինիս` պատճառելով մարմնական վնասվածքներ:

Վերջին դեպքի կապակցությամբ մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել նաեւ կապիտան, Վայոց Ձորի Վայք քաղաքի բնակիչ Վահան Հարությունյանին` իր ենթակա Սմբատ Սաֆարյանին ծեծի ենթարկելու համար։

Սմբատ Սաֆարյանին մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել ՀՀ ՔՕ 358 հոդվածի 3–րդ մասի 1–ին կետով` մի խումբ անձանց կողմից պետի նկատմամբ բռնի գործողություններ կատարելը, որը պատժվում է ազատազրկմամբ 4–8 տարի ժամկետով, եւ 358 հոդվածի 1–ին մասով, Սարգիս Կիրակոսյանին` 358 հոդվածի 3–րդ մասի 1–ին կետով, Վահան Հարությունյանին` 358.1 հոդվածի 1–ին մասով` ստորադասի նկատմամբ բռնի գործողություններ կատարելը կամ դրանք կատարելու սպառնալիքը, որը պատժվում է զինվորական ծառայության մեջ սահմանափակմամբ` մեկից երկու տարի ժամկետով, կամ կալանքով` առավելագույնը երեք ամիս ժամկետով, կամ կարգապահական գումարտակում պահելով` առավելագույնը երկու տարի ժամկետով, կամ ազատազրկմամբ` առավելագույնը չորս տարի ժամկետով:
