Օրեր առաջ Ստամբուլում Սաուդյան Արաբիայի հյուպատոսություն մուտք գործելուց հետո անհայտ կորած սաուդացի հայտնի ընդդիմադիր լրագրող, The Washington Post-ի թղթակից Ջամալ Խաաշկղիջին Apple Watch «խելացի» ժամացույցով ձայնագրել է իր հարցաքննության ու դրան հաջորդած սպանության պահերը:

Ինչպես նշում է ria.ru-ն, այս մասին գրում են թուրքական լրատվամիջոցները՝ իրավապահ մարմիններում քաջատեղյակ աղբյուրներին հղումով:

Հայտնի է, որ հյուպատոսության շենք մտնելուց առաջ լրագրողն իր հարսնացուին iPhone էր նվիրել, իսկ ձեռքին կապված Apple Watch-ը դրել ձայնագրման ռեժիմի վրա: Նշվում է, որ հարսնացուին տրված սմարթֆոնը սինխրոնավորվել է լրագրողի սմարթվոչի հետ: Արդյունքում Խաաշկղիջի հարցաքննության, կտտանքների ու սպանության ձայնագրությունը փոխանցվել է կնոջ iPhone-ին ու ավտոմատ կերպով ներբեռնվել Apple iCloud:

 

Հաղորդվում   նաև, որ Սաուդյան Արաբիայի հետախուզության ծառայողները փոխել են լրագրողի ձեռքի սմարթվոչն ու փորձել են դրանից ջնջել բոլոր տվյալները: Այնուհանդերձ՝ որոշ ձայնագրություններ պահպանվել են՝ ապացուցելով, որ տեղի է ունեցել սպանություն: 

Ավելի վաղ tert.am-ը, հայտնել էր, որ Ջամալ Խաաշկղիջին սպանվել է, իսկ նրա մարմինը մասնատել ու դուրս են բերել հյուպատոսության շենքից: Ուշագրավ է, որ այն օրը, երբ Խաաշկղիջին մտել է հյուպատոսարան, դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչության բոլոր թուրք աշխատակիցներին մեկօրյա արձակուրդ է տրվել:

Նշվում է նաև, որ Սաուդյան Արաբիայի հյուպատոսն արդեն մի քանի օր է, ինչ տնից դուրս չի գալիս ու չեղարկել է իր բոլոր հանդիպումները:

Ավելի վաղ The Washington Post-ը գրել էր, որ Սաուդյան Արաբիայի գահաժառանգ արքայազն Մուհամեդ բեն Սալման ալ Սաուդը ցանկացել է Խաաշկղիջիին վերադարձնել հայրենիք, որտեղ նրան կձերբակալեին:

Թուրքական ոստիկանության վարկածի համաձայն՝ սաուդացի լրագրողը սպանվել է հյուպատոսության շենքի ներսում: Սաուդյան Արաբիայի հյուպատոսությունը հերքում է սպանության վարկածն ու շարունակում պնդել, որ լրագրողը դուրս է եկել շենքից ու կորել դրանից հետո միայն:

Նախօրեին թուրքական մամուլը հրապարակել է գործով կասկածյալ համարվող Սաուդյան Արաբիայի 15 քաղաքացիների լուսանկարները, որոնք նույն օրը Սաուդյան Արաբիայից 2 տարբեր օդանավերով ժամանել են Ստամբուլ, Խաաշկղիջիի՝ հյուպատոսարան մուտքից կես ժամ առաջ մտել են հյուպատոսության շենք և մոտ մեկուկես ժամ անց դուրս եկել ու 3 տարբեր մեքենաներով հեռացել տարածքից:
