Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում և Հայոց Եկեղեցու թեմերի առաջնորդանիստ եկեղեցիներում կատարվում է հոգեհանգստյան կարգ՝ Հայաստանի ազգային հերոս, աշխարհահռչակ շանսոնյե Շառլ Ազնավուրի հոգու խաղաղության համար:

ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի որոշմամբ Հայաստանի ազգային հերոս, Ժնեւի ՄԱԿ-ի գրասենյակում եւ այլ միջազգային կազմակերպություններում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության մշտական ներկայացուցիչ, Շվեյցարիայի Համադաշնությունում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան, նշանավոր երգիչ, երգահան, գրող, կինոդերասան եւ հասարակական գործիչ Շառլ Ազնավուրի հուղարկավորության օրը` 2018 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 6-ը, Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում հայտարարվել է սուգ:

Պետական կառավարման համակարգի մարմինները, համայնքները, օտարերկրյա պետություններում ՀՀ դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչությունները խոնարհում են պետական դրոշը: Արտերկրում ՀՀ դեսպանություններում եւ հյուպատոսություններում բացվում են սգո մատյաններ: Հայաստանում ռադիոընկերություններն ու հեռուստաընկերությունները վերանայում են իրենց եթերային ցանկը, չեն ցուցադրվում զվարճալի եւ ժամանցային հաղորդումները, երկրում չեղյալ են համարվում ժամանցային միջոցառումները:

Հոկտեմբերի 6-ին՝ ժամը 12.00-ին, Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետի տնօրինությամբ, ի հիշատակ Հայաստանի ազգային հերոս, հայ ժողովրդի մեծանուն զավակ Շառլ Ազնավուրի, կհնչեցվեն Երևանի բոլոր եկեղեցիների, Արտաշատի Ս. Հովհաննես Ավետարանիչ և Մասիսի Ս. Թադեոս եկեղեցիների զանգերը և կկատարվի Հոգեհանգստյան կարգ:

Աշխարհահռչակ ֆրանսահայ շանսոնյե Շառլ Ազնավուրի հուղարկավորությունը կանցկացվի Փարիզից ոչ հեռու գտնվող Մոնֆոր Լամորի համայնքում:

Հոկտեմբերի 5-ին Փարիզի «Հաշմանդամների պալատ»-ում անցկացվեց հոգեհանգստի և Ազգային հարգանքի տուրքի արարողություն՝ ի պատիվ աշխարհահռչակ շանսոնյե Շառլ Ազնավուրի: Ներկա էր ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը տիկնոջ՝ Աննա Հակոբյանի, ՀՀ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը տիկնոջ՝ Նունե Սարգսյանի հետ, Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոս Գարեգին Երկրորդը, ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Զոհրաբ Մնացականյանը, ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարար Լիլիթ Մակունցը: Ելույթներով հանդես են եկել Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնը, ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:

Աշխարհահռչակ շանսոնյե Շառլ Ազնավուրը մահացել է հոկտեմբերի 1-ին 94 տարեկանում:
