Սիրիացի քրդերի ինքնապաշտպանական ուժերը (YPG), չնայած ԱՄՆ-ի եւ Թուրքիայի կողմից համաձայնեցված ճանապարհի քարտեզին, չեն լքել սիրիական Մանբիջ քաղաքը եւ պատրաստվում են պաշտպանել այն՝ նրա շուրջը հակատանկային փոսեր փորելով եւ հողապատնեշներ կանգնեցնելով: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հոկտեմբերի 5-ին հայտնել Է Anadolu գործակալությունը՝ վկայակոչելով տեղական աղբյուրներ:

Հունիսի սկզբին Անկարան եւ Վաշինգտոնը հավանություն են տվել սիրիական Մանբիջի կայունացման վերաբերյալ ճանապարհային քարտեզին, որը քրդական կազմավորումները «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորումից ազատագրել Էին 2016 թվականի հունիսին:

Փաստաթղթի համաձայն, քրդական ուժերը պետք Է դուրս բերվեին քաղաքից, քանի որ Թուրքիան ինքնապաշտպանության քրդական ջոկատները (YPG) համարում Է երկրում արգելված Քրդական աշխատավորական կուսակցության գործակիցներ: Թուրք զինվորականները Մանբիջի շրջանում պարեկությանը ձեռնամուխ են եղել հունիսի 18-ին: Ընդսմին Սիրիայի իշխանությունները կտրականապես դեմ են Մանբիջում ԱՄՆ-ի եւ Թուրքիայի ուժերի ներկայությանը: Սիրիայի ԱԳ նախարարը Մանբիջում ստեղծված իրադրությունը համարել Է ՄԱԿ-ի բանաձեւերի խախտում:

Հոկտեմբերի 3-ին Թուրքիայի նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Իբրահիմ Քալընը հայտարարել Է, որ ԱՄՆ-ը ձգձգում Է ճանապարհային քարտեզի գծով իր պարտավորությունների կատարումը, որի համաձայն նա պետք Է 90 օրվա ընթացքում Մանբիջը մաքրեր YPG-ից, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
