SOCIETYՀայաստանում բնակվում է 100 տարին լրացած 67 տարեց: «Արմենպրես»-ի մամուլի սրահում հրավիրված ասուլիսում ՀՀ աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի նախարարության հաշմանդամների և տարեցների հիմնահարցերի վարչության պետի տեղակալ Անահիտ Գևորգյանը նշեց, որ նրանցից ամենատարեցը 113 տարին լրացած տատիկ է, ով բնակվում է Եղեգնաձորում: Երկորրդ և երրորդ տեղում կրկին կանայք են, որոնցից մեկը 111 և մյուսը՝ 110 տարեկան է: Անահիտ Գևորգյանը նշեց, որ նախորդ տարի 100 տարին լրացած տարեցների թիվն ավելի շատ էր:
« Հայաստանում 90 տարին լրացած տարեցների թիվը կազմում է 7 հազար 210: Այսօր գործում է 12 խնամքի հաստատություն, որից 5-ը պետական, 7-ը ոչ պետական: Բոլոր հաստատություններում ապրում է 1240 մարդ»,-ասաց Անահիտ Գևորգյանը: Հաստատությունների մի մասում ապրում են հոգեկան առողջության խնդիրներ ունեցող անձինք:
Խոսելով խնամքի հաստատություններում տարեցների թվի մասին՝ Անահիտ Գևորգյանը նշեց, որ ավելացում չի նկատվում: Այս տարիներին խնամքի տները չեն ավելացել ու այնտեղ տեղերի քանակը մնացել է նույնը:
«Ավելին, այսօր մենք ընդհանուր հաստատություններում ունենք ազատ տեղեր, դա նշանակում է, որ դիմողների թիվը պակասել է: 90-ական թվականներին մենք մինչև 200 մարդ ունեինք հերթում, որպեսզի ընդունվեն խնամքի հաստատություններ: Ասեմ, որ ի տարբերություն ընդհանուր հաստատությունների, հատուկ տիպի հաստատություններում, հոգեկան առողջության խնդիրներ ունեցող տարեցների թիվն ավելացել է: Այստեղ հերթեր կան, այդ ծառայության կարիքն ունենք»,-ավելացրեց Անահիտ Գևորգյանը:
Հոկտեմբերի 1-ը Տարեցների միջազգային օրն է (International Day of Older Persons): Այն հռչակվել է 1990 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 14-ին ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի որոշմամբ: 1991թ-ին ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր Ասմաբլեան ընդունեց Տարեց մարդկանց նկատմամբ ՄԱԿ-ի սկզբունքները: Սկզբնական շրջանում Տարեցների միջազգային օրը նշվում էր միայն Եվրոպայում, այնուհետև Ամերիկայում, իսկ այժմ` աշխարհի բազմաթիվ երկրներում, այդ թվում նաև Հայաստանում:
