«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Այս տարվա մարտին Նիդերլանդներում ՀՀ դեսպան նշանակված Գարեգին Մելքոնյանը 2017 թվականին բնակարան և առանձնատուն է ձեռք բերել: Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք Բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնատար անձանց էթիկայի հանձնաժողովի կայքում հրապարակված նրա՝ 2017թ. տարեկան հայտարարագրից: Գ. Մելքոնյանը հայտարարագիրը ներկայացրել է 2018թ. մարտի 2–ին, երբ դեռ զբաղեցնում էր ՀՀ տնտեսական զարգացման և ներդրումների նախարարի առաջին տեղակալի պաշտոնը: 

Գ. Մելքոնյանը վերոնշյալ բնակարանը ձեռք է բերել 10 մլն, առանձնատունը՝ 15 մլն ՀՀ դրամով: Հայտարարագրել  է նաև «VOLKSWAGEN TOUAREG 3.2» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենա, որն օտարվել է 5 մլն ՀՀ դրամով: Հարկային տարում հանձնած կամ վերադարձած փոխառությունները բաժնից տեղեկանում ենք, որ փոխառության գումարը 2017թ. վերջում կազմել է 11 500 000 ՀՀ դրամ: Նրա դրամական միջոցները 2017թ. սկզբին կազմել են 500 000 ՀՀ դրամ, 2017թ. վերջում ավելացել են՝ կազմելով 1 500 000 ՀՀ դրամ: Տարվա սկզբին ունեցել է նաև 9500 ԱՄՆ դոլար, տարեվերջում այն կազմել է 7000 դոլար: Դեսպանը հայտարարագրել է նաև 1000 եվրո, որը առկա է եղել նաև 2017թ. վերջում: Գ. Մելքոնյանի եկամուտների հանրագումարը կազմել է 17 957 246 ՀՀ դրամ: Իսկ բնամթերքով ստացած եկամուտների հանրագումարը կազմել է 25 մլն ՀՀ դրամ: Աշխատավարձից ստացած եկամուտը կազմել  է 10 361 877 ՀՀ դրամ: Միանվագ վճարներից ստացած եկամուտը կազմել է 500 000 ՀՀ դրամ:

«Տրված փոխառությունների (վարկերի) դիմաց ստացված տոկոսը և այլ հատուցումը» բաժնում էլ նշված է 995 254 և 1 100 115 ՀՀ դրամ ստացած եկամուտների մասին: Գույքի վաճառքից ստացած եկամուտը կազմել է 5 000 000 ՀՀ դրամ:
