Սեպտեմբերի 8-ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և  Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի «Գարեգին Ա» կրթական կենտրոնում ընդունել է Շիրակի թեմի Գյումրու Սուրբ Հակոբ եկեղեցու ուխտավորներին` առաջնորդությամբ հոգևոր հովիվ Արժանապատիվ Տ. Վարուժան քահանա Տերտերյանի: 

Այս մասին տեղեկացնում են Մայր Աթոռ Ս. Էջմիածնի տեղեկատվական համակարգից:

Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը, իր հայրական օրհնությունը բերելով ուխտավորներին, ողջունել է գյումրեցիների այցը Մայր Աթոռ։ Հայոց Հայրապետն ընդգծել է, որ «Գյումրի» անվան արտաբերումն առանձնակի ջերմություն է առաջացնում յուրաքանչյուր հայորդու սրտում,  որովհետև Գյումրին այն կենտրոնն է, որտեղ պահպանվում ու փոխանցվում է հայ ազգի հոգևոր, մշակութային դիմագիծը։

Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն անդրադարձել է ուխտագնացությունների կարևորությանը և անհրաժեշտությանը հոգևոր կյանքի զորացման համար՝ նշելով, որ ուխտի գնալով ուխտավորներն հայոց սրբատեղիներն առատացնում են աղոթքով, աղոթքով լցնում նաև իրենց հոգիները։ Նորին Սրբությունը հավատացյալներին հորդորել է հարատևորեն մնալ աղոթքի մեջ, ամուր պահել հավատքն ու հույսը, քանզի դրանց միջոցով է մարդն արարում ու պայքարում փորձությունների և զանազան մարտահրավերների դեմ։

Վեհափառ Հայրապետը վերհիշել է նաև Գյումրու Սուրբ Հակոբ եկեղեցու կառուցման պատմությունը` ջերմ հուշեր արթնացնելով ներկաների մոտ:

 

Հանդիպմանն Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն իր գնահատանքն է փոխանցել Շիրակի թեմի առաջնորդ Գերաշնորհ Տեր Միքայել եպիսկոպես Աջապահյանին, ինչպես նաև Տեր Վարուժան քահանային նման ուխտագնացություններ կազմակերպելու համար:

Վերջում ուխտավորները շնորհակալություն են հայտնել Վեհափառ Հայրապետին Մայր Աթոռի ջերմ ընդունելության, հայրական օրհնության ու հոգեշահ պատգամի համար։
