Արմեն Վարդանյանը Ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Գաղտնիք չէ, որ Հայաստանի բնությունը, մասնավորապես լեռնային գոտիները հարմար են մանր եղջերավոր անասուններ բուծելու համար, ուստի այդ ճյուղի զարգացումը շատ կարևոր է ողջ ոլորտի զարգացման տեսանկյունից: 

Օրերս ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլսը ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության փոխնախարար Արմեն Հարությունյանի
ուղեկցությամբ, այցելել է Վայոց ձորի մարզում ԱՄՆ աջակցությամբ գործող մի շարք գյուղատնտեսական ընկերություններ: Այցը կազմակերպվել է ԱՄՆ դեսպանատան կողմից՝ հայտարարված գյուղատնտեսության և գյուղի զարգացման միամսյակի շրջանակներում:

Այցի ընթացքում շրջայց է կատարվել Եղեգնաձորի «ԱՐԻԴ» այծաբուծական կենտրոն: Վերջինս հիմնադրվել է 1999 թվականին` ԱՄՆ գյուղդեպարտամենտի Մարկետինգի աջակցության ծրագրի կողմից: Գենետիկ գիտության կիրառման,ինչպես նաև տեխնիկական աջակցության, գենետիկ փորձերի և անասնաբուժական խորհրդատվության տրամադրման միջոցով կենտրոնն օգնում է մշակել
անկախ և տնտեսապես կենսունակ միջոցներ` ուղղված Հայաստանում կաթնատու այծերի աճեցմանը:

Վերջերս ԱՄՆ գյուղդեպարտամենտի «Ագրոտուրիզմի զարգացման» ծրագրի շրջանակներում «ԱՐԻԴ» կենտրոնը սկսել է հետաքրքրվել նաև ագրոտուրիզմի հնարավորություններով: Այծի պանրի և այլ մթերքների պատշաճ գովազդումը զբոսաշրջիկների շրջանում կօգնեն տեղացի ֆերմերներին ստանալ հավելյալ եկամուտներ:
ԱՄՆ դեսպանը նշել է, որ ուրախ է տեսնել այս ընկերությունը: Նա նշել է նաև, որ սա ոչ միայն հաջողակ գիտական գործունեության իրականացման միջոցով Հայաստանում այծաբուծության որակը բարելավող նախաձեռնություն է, այլ նաև լուրջ հեռանկարներ է բացում գյուղի բարիքներն ու դարերի ընթացքում հղկված տնտեսավարման գիտելիքները
ներկայումս տուրիզմի զարգացմանը ծառայեցնելու համար:

Հարկ է նշել նաև, որ Աղնջաձորի կաթի հավաքման կետում դեսպանն ու փոխնախարարը հանդիպել են նաև կաթնամթերք արտադրող կոոպերատիվների ներկայացուցիչներին: Կառույցը ֆինանսավորվում է ԱՄՆ ՄԶԳ «Գյուղի զարգացման արդի նախաձեռնություն» (ARDI) ծրագրի կողմից: 5 տարի տևողությամբ և 4 միլիոն ԱՄՆ դոլար արժողությամբ այս ծրագիրը մեկնարկել է 2013­-ի սեպտեմբերին: Ծրագիրը նպատակ ունի խթանել գյուղական զբաղվածությունն ու
եկամուտները:

Այցի շրջանակներում դեսպանն ու փոխնախարարը եղել են Սալլի գյուղում գտնվող «Սելիմ» այծի պանրի արտադրամասում: Այս կառույցը հիմնադրվել է 2002 թվականին ԱՄՆ գյուղդեպարտամենտի Ագրոբիզնեսի և գյուղի զարգացման կենտրոնի (CARD) ջանքերով: Օգտագործելով տեղական այծի կաթը՝ նրանք արտադրում են ֆետա պանիր տեղական սպառման և արտահանման համար:
