ՊԵԿ մաքսանենգության դեմ պայքարի վարչությունում սեպտեմբերի 6-ին ՀՀ Ոստիկանության ԿՀԴՊ ԳՎ ԹԱՇԴՊ վարչությունից տվյալներ են ստացվել այն մասին, որ նույն օրը, ժամը 01:30-ի սահմաններում Մեղրի սահմանային անցակետով Իրանից Հայաստանի սահմանը հատած ԻԻՀ քաղաքացիներ Ֆարհադ Եբրահիմ Սոլեյմանիին և Լեիլա Նորալդին Դոստկանը հնարավոր է թմրանյութ են տեղափոխում Վրաստան: Նույն օրը՝ ժամը 12:30-ի սահմաններում նշված քաղաքացիները Բագրատաշենի սահմանային անցակետով փորձել են հատել ՀՀ  և ՎՀ պետական սահմանները: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԿԱ ՊԵԿ տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից:

Բագրատաշենի սահմանային անցակետի մաքսային հսկողության գոտում վերջիններիս նկատմամբ իրականցվել է մաքսային հսկողություն։ Նրանց  ուղեբեռների մաքսային զննության արդյունքում թմրանյութ և անօրինական որևէ այլ իր չի հայտնաբերվել, ինչից հետո վերջիններս տեղափոխվել են Նոյեմբերյանի «Ն.Նասիբյանի անվան բժշկական կենտրոն» ՓԲԸ՝ բժշկական միջամտությամբ մարմինների անձնական զննման ենթարկելու նպատակով: ԲԿ-ում իրականացված մարմինների անձնական զննման արդյունքում ԻԻՀ քաղաքացի Լեիլա Նորալդին Դոստկանի մարմնի մի մասում հայտնաբերվել է պոլիէթիլենային թաղանթով փաթեթավորված մոտ 173 գրամ քաշով գլանաձև, դարչնագույն, հերոին տեսակի թմրանյութի նմանվող պինդ զանգված, իսկ մեկ այլ մասում՝ մոտ 96 գրամ քաշով նույնանման զանգված: ԻԻՀ քաղաքացի Ֆարհադ Եբրահիմ Սոլեյմանիի մարմնի անձնական զննման արդյունքում վերջինիս մարմնից ևս  հայտնաբերվել են պոլիէթիլենային թաղանթով փաթեթավորված մոտ 118 գրամ և 100 գրամ քաշերով թվով երկու հատ գլանաձև դարչնագույն, հերոին տեսակի թմրանյութի նմանվող պինդ զանգվածներ: ԻԻՀ քաղաքացիների հայտարարությունների համաձայն՝ հայտնաբերված մոտ 500 գր. վերոնշյալ զանգվածները հերոին տեսակի թմրանյութ են:

Դեպքի առթիվ կազմվել են համապատասխան արձանագրություններ, իսկ հայտնաբերվածը փաթեթավորվել, կապարակնքվել, վերցվել է ՄԴՊ վարչության աշխատակիցների կողմից և տեղափոխվել ՀՀ ՊԵԿ քննչական վարչություն:
