«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
«Փաստ» օրաթերթի օգոստոսի 22–ի թիվ 133 (385) համարում տպագրված «ՔՊԿ–ի կողմից առաջարկել են, ինչը ԺՀԿ–ն չի մերժել» վերնագրով հոդվածում հրապարակված հատվածը՝ ՔՊ–ի կողմից իրենց թեկնածուին սատարելու ԺՀԿ–ին արված առաջարկի մասին, թյուրըմբռնման հետևանք է, քանի որ «Փաստի» հետ զրույցի ժամանակ ԺՀԿ նախագահ Պետրոս Մակեյանի բանավոր խոսքում չեն եղել «մեր կուսակցականների կողմից» բառերը, ինչի արդյունքում միտքն ընկալվել է այնպես, որ ՔՊԿ թեկնածուին սատարելու առաջարկն արվել է «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցության կողմից: Երեկ պարոն Մակեյանը մեզ հետ զրույցում նշեց, որ իրականում ինքը նկատի է ունեցել, որ առաջարկը եղել է ոչ թե ՔՊԿ–ի, այլ՝ ԺՀԿ–ի քաղխորհրդի անդամների կողմից:
