«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Երկիրը վերածվել է հեղափոխականների ու հակահեղափոխականների: Տխուր է, չափազանց տխուր է, բայց փաստ: Բոլոր նրանք, ովքեր գովում, փառաբանում, խնկարկում են նոր իշխանություններին, նրանք «պուպուշ» են, ավելին՝ լիակատար անսխալական են: Բայց եթե որևէ մեկը հանկարծ ու համարձակվի մի թեթև, մի աննշան քննադատել որևէ իշխանավորի, առավել ևս՝ վարչապետին, անպայման, անկասկած, անտարակույս «քըխ» է, հակահեղափոխական է, հակապետական է: Իսկ ի՞նչ են անում նմանների հետ. ճիշտ է՝ ենթարկում են տոտալ հարձակման, վարկաբեկման, ոչնչացման: Դա քիչ է, կախել է պետք նմաններին, Հրապարակում, հերթական հանրահավաքի ժամանակ: Թե չէ միայն բառերով արդյունքի հնարավոր չէ հասնել, որքան էլ այդ բառերը մաղձով ու հայհոյանքով լեցուն լինեն: Առավել ևս, որ սպառնալիքների պակաս չկա:

Իսկ եթե լուրջ, ապա իրապես մտահոգիչ է հասարակության նման բաժանումը՝ հեղափոխականներ ու հակահեղափոխականներ (որ նույնն է, թե հակապետականներ. դե, «պետությունը ես եմ» գործելաոճը դարերի ընթացքում ընդամենը տրանսֆորմացվել է ըստ անձերի): Ամենևին պարտադիր չէ, որ կառավարության գործունեությունը քննադատողները անպայման հհկական կամ քոչարյանական «թելը թելեն», անպայման Նիկոլի թշնամի լինեն, հակահեղափոխական լինեն: Ավելին, նրանց մեջ գուցե քիչ չեն նրանք, ովքեր նախկին իշխանություններին էլ անողոք քննադատել են: Եվ դեռ հարց է՝ ով է ավելի հայրենասեր. նա, ով հավատն ու վստահությունը կուրորեն պաշտամունքի է հասցրե՞լ, ով միայն վարդագույն ակնոցներո՞վ է շրջում, թե՞ նա, ով ցավում է երկրի ու պետության համար, ով տեսնում է բացթողումներն ու բարձրաձայնում դրանց մասին՝ շտկելու, օգնելու միտումով: Առաջիններն, ի դեպ, կործանեցին Սերժ Սարգսյանի իշխանությունը, որովհետև ՀՀԿ–ականներն ուղղակի հայտնվել էին այլ իրականության մեջ՝ երկրի ու ժողովրդի հետ որևէ կապ չունեցող: Հիմա կարող ենք զուգահեռ իրականության մեջ գցել նաև Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին ու նրա կառավարությանը, քանզի երբ հաճախ ես ասում՝ ամեն ինչ լավ է, սկսում ես հավատալ դրան, չես տեսնում առկա խնդիրները, առաջ է գալիս մեծամտության լուրջ պաշար: Սա վտանգավոր է: Առավել վտանգավոր է, երբ նախկինների հետ կապ չունեցող արժանապատիվ, անկեղծ, խելացի մարդիկ քիչ–քիչ սկսում են ձեռքերը լվանալ ու մի կողմ քաշվել: Այնինչ նրանց լսել է պետք, այլ ոչ վանել: Վանողներն ավելի շատ չեն սիրում մեր երկիրը...
