Past.am-ը ներկայացնում է սիրված և ճանաչված հնդիկ դերասանին, ում սիրում էին շատերը, ում խաղը հիացնում էր բոլորին:

Շահրուկ Կհանը ծնվել է 1965 թ-ի նոյեմբերի 2-ին Նյու-Դելիում: Նրա ընտանիքը կրոնական պատկանելիությամբ մուսուլմաններ են: Նա ունի իրենից մեծ քույր՝ Շեխնազը: Նրա հայրը՝ Տաջ Մուհամեդ Կհանը հայտնի փաստաբան է, Նյու-Դելի է տեղափոխվել Պեշավարայից:

Շահրուկ Կհանը դպրոցն ավարտել է Նյու-Դելիում, այնուհետև 1988 թ-ին ընդունվել է Դելիի համալսարանի Տնտեսագիտության ֆակուլտետը: Դրանից հետո ընդունվել է համալսարանի մագիստրատուրան՝ որպես լրագրող, սակայն նախապատվությունը տվել է դերասան դառնալուն:

Ծնողների մահից հետո 1991թ-ին Շահրուկը տեղափոխվում է Բոմբեյ: Նույն թ-ի հոկտեմբերի 25-ին նա ամուսնանում է Գաուրի Չիբբերի հետ: Այս ամուսնությունից 1997թ-ի նոյեմբերի 13-ին ծնվում է նրա որդին՝ Արյանը, իսկ 2000 թ-ի մայիսի 23-ին՝ աղջիկը՝ Սուխանան: 2013թ-ի մայիսի 27-ին զույգը ունեցավ իրենց երրորդ երեխան՝ փոխնակ մոր օգնությամբ: Երեխային անվանեցին Աբրահամ:

Շահրուկ Կհանը դերասանական կարիերան սկսել է 1988թ-ին: Առաջին քայլերը արել է հարազատ քաղաքում, նկարահանվելով բազմաթիվ հեռուստասերիալներում: Իսկ արդեն ահա գեղարվեստական ֆիլմերում սկսել է նկարահանվել Բոմբեյ տեղափոխվելուց հետո:

Առաջին ֆիլմը նրա մասնակցությամբ եղել է «Խելագար սերը»:

1993թ-ին նկարահնվում է միանգամից 2 ֆիլմերում՝ «Կյանքը վախի մեջ» և «Խաղ մահվան հետ», որտեղ երկու ֆիլմերում էլ մարմնավորում է բացաական հերոսների: Վերջին ֆիլմում խաղալու համար արժանանում է տարվա լավագույն դերասան տիտղոսին:

1994թ-ին կրկին խաղում է բացասական դեր «Քմահաճույք» ֆելմում, որի համար ստանում է մրցանակ՝ տարվա լավագույն բացասական դեր:
