Օգոստոսի 10-ի առավոտից գրեթե ողջ Աջարիայում տեղացող հորդառատ անձրեւները լուրջ խնդիրներ են ստեղծել տեղի բնակիչների Վրաստանի այս ինքնավար հանրապետության սեւծովյան առողջարաններում հանգստացող հյուրերի համար:

Ինչպես հայտնել են վրացական ԶԼՄ-ները, ջրի հոսքերը ծածկել են ավտոմոբիլային ճանապարհները՝ սահմանափակելով տրանսպորտի երթեւեկությունն ինքնավարության տարածքում, հեղեղվել են Բաթումի, Քոբուլեթի եւ Մախինջաուրի ավանի փողոցները, տներն ու խանութները, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

Արտակարգ իրավիճակների կառավարման ծառայությունում Բաթումից ստացվել Է ավելի քան 80 կանչ: Ջուրը հեղեղել Է բակերը, նկուղները եւ շենքերի առաջին հարկերը: Քաղաքի առանձին վայրերում ավտոմոբիլային երթեւեկությունը կաթվածահար վիճակում Է, մարդիկ տեղաշարժվում են փչովի նավակներով: 
Անձրեւների պատճառով լուրջ խնդիրներ են առաջացել նաեւ Բաթում-Քոբուլեթ կենտրոնական ավտոմայրուղում, որտեղ գոյացած ավտոմոբիլային խցանումը ձգվում Է մի քանի կիլոմետր: Հարյուրավոր մեքենաներ չեն կարողացել շարունակել ճանապարհը, քանի որ ավտոմայրուղու առանձին տեղամասեր գրեթե ամբողջությամբ հայտնվել են ջրի տակ:

Հեղեղման հետեւանքների դեմ պայքարում են նաեւ Քոբուլեթ եւ Մախինջաուրի առողջարանների բնակիչները: ԶԼՄ-ների տեղեկատվությամբ՝ սաստիկ անձրեւի ու քամու պատճառով Քոբուլեթի մունիցիպալիտետի գյուղերում վնասվել են Էլեկտրահաղորդման գծերը, տապալվել են Էլեկտրական գծերի մի քանի հենասյուներ: Ընդհանուր առմամբ առանց լույսի են մնացել տասը գյուղի բնակիչներ:

Եղանակը խնդիրներ Է ստեղծել նաեւ Աջարիայի հարեւան տարածաշրջաններում՝ Գուրիայում եւ Սամեգրելո-Զեմո Սվանեթում, որտեղ վարարած գետերի ջրերը հեղեղել են տները, բակերն ու տնամերձ հողամասերը այդ տարածաշրջանների քաղաքներում ու գյուղերում, այդ թվում՝ Փոթիում, Զուգդիդում եւ Սենակիում, Գորիում, Աբաշայում եւ Մարտվիլում, հաղորդել Է «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը:
