Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը համառում է երկրի նոր սահմանադրությունն ընդունելու հարցում, ինչը դարձել է Թուրքիան նախագահական համակարգի անցկացնելու նրա գլխավոր ցանկությունը:

Այս մասին,  հայտնում է Euronews հեռուստաալիքը` նշելով, որ նոր օրենքում ենթադրվում է նախագահի իշխանության ուժեղացում, ինչի գլխավոր փաստարկը հանդիսանում է «ուժեղ կենտրոնական իշխանության անհրաժեշտությունը» եւ «քուրդ անջատողականների կողմից աճող ահաբեկչական սպառնալիքի առաջ կայունությունը»:

«Հուսով եմ, որ ընդդիմադիր կուսակցությունների առաջնորդները կնստեն մեկ սեղանի շուրջ եւ կաշխատեն նոր սահմանադրության նախագծի վրա: Յուրքանչյուրը, ով խոչընդոտում է նոր սահմանադրություն ստեղծելլու գծով ժողովրդի կամքի իրագործմանը, ով ձգտում է խանգարել նրա երեւան գալուն, պատասխանատվություն կզգա հաջորդ ընտրություններում` 4 տարի հետո», -հայտարարել է նա:

Էրդողանի հայտարարությունն անակնկալ չէր, քանի որ սահմանադրական բարեփոխումը հանդիսանում էր Թուրքիայում անցյալ կիրակի անցկացված արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների գլխավոր թեմաներից մեկը: Իշխող «Արդարություն եւ զարգացում» կուսակցությունը, որի անդամ է Էրդողանը, քվեարկության արդյունքներով խորհրդարանում ստացել է ձայների մեծամասնությունը:

Ընտրություններից անմիջապես հետո իշխանությունները ձերբակալել են մոտ 40 մարդու, որոնց համարում են «Հիզմեթ» ընդդիմադիր շարժման եւ նրա առաջնորդ, արդի իսլամի գաղափարախոս Ֆաթուլլահ Գյուլենի կողմնակիցներ: Մեկ շաբաթ առաջ կառավարությունը բռնի ուժով իր վերահսկողության տակ է վերցրել ընդդիմությունը, այդ թվում` քրդամետ Ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատական կուսակցությանն իր էջերում հրապարակումներ թույլ տված մեդիա-խմբին:

Անցած երկուշաբթի Անկարան հայտարարել էր, որ մտադիր է շարունակել ռմբակոծել Քրդստանի աշխատավորական կուսակցության (PKK) զինյալներին համարվող դիրքերը: Ընդ որում, այսուհետեւ նրանց բազաների վրա հարվածները հասցվելու են ոչ միայն Թուրքիայի, այլ նաեւ Իրաքի տարածքում, հայտնում է Euoronews-ը:
