Թրամփը սպառնացել է պատժամիջոցներ կիրառել Թուրքիայի դեմ՝ ամերիկացի քահանային ազատ չարձակելու պարագայում
INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը սպառնացել է պատժամիջոցներ կիրառել Թուրքիայի դեմ, եթե ավելի քան երկու տարի Թուրքիայում բանտարկված ամերիկացի քահանա Էնդրյու Բրանսոնն անհապաղ ազատ չարձակվի, գրում է «Հյուրրիյեթ» պարբերականը։
«ԱՄՆ-ն մեծ պատժամիջոցներ կսահմանի Թուրքիայի դեմ՝ հրաշալի քրիստոնյա, ընտանիքի հայր և հրաշալի մարդ Էնդրյու Բրանսոնի երկարաժամկետ բանտարկության համար։ Այդ մարդը շատ է տառապում, նա պետք է անհապաղ ազատ արձակվի»,- ասել է Թրամփը։
Նմանատիպ հայտարարությամբ հանդես է եկել նաև ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահ Մայք Փենսը՝ նշելով, որ եթե Թուրքիան միջոցներ չձեռնարկի Բրանսոնին ազատ արձակելու համար՝ ԱՄՆ-ը լուրջ տնտեսական պատժամիջոցներ կկիրառի այդ երկրի դեմ։
«Ես ու նախագահ Թրամփը պայքարելու ենք նրա ազատության համար», - ասել է Փենսը։
Հիշեցնենք, որ նախօրեին հայտնի է դարձել, որ թուրքական դատարանը թույլատրել է ամերիկացի քահանային որպես նախնական խափանման միջոց ընտրված կալանքը կրել տանը։
Օրեր առաջ Դոնալդ Թրամփը կրկին կոչ էր արել Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանին՝ քայլեր ձեռնարկել, որ ամերիկացի քահանան վերջապես հայտնվի ազատության մեջ ու վերադառնա հայրենիք։
Նշենք, որ Բրանսոնն ու նրա կինը, որոնք Իզմիրում ղեկավարում էին քրիստոնեական եկեղեցի, կալանավորվել են անցյալ տարեվերջին՝ միգրացիոն օրենսդրության խախտման մեղադրանքով:
