Կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի համար ժամանակ է պետք: 

Այս մասին Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց «Թրանսփարենսի ինթերնեշնլ» հակակոռուպցիոն կենտրոնի ծրագրերի ղեկավար Վարուժան Հոկտանյանը՝ խոսելով վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի այն մտքի մասին, թե զարմանալի է, որ այսքան քաղաքական հայտարարություններից հետո «ինչ-որ մարդկանց թվում է՝ կատակ ենք անում, կաշառք են տալիս, կաշառք են վերցնում, հետո ասում են՝ վայ, էս ինչ եղավ»:

«Հայտնի ճշմարտություն կա՝ երկրում հեղափոխություն, իշխանափոխություն կարելի է անել մի քանի օրում, տնտեսական հեղափոխություն կարելի է անել մի քանի ամսում, իսկ մարդկանց մտածողության մեջ հեղափոխության համար տասնամյակներ են պետք: Կարծել, թե մարդիկ հեղափոխությունից միանգամից հետո կփոխվեն, ուրիշ ձև կմտածեն, պատրանք է, հեռու է իրականությունից»,- ասաց Վարուժան Հոկտանյանը

Փորձագետը նշեց, որ բնակչությունը պետք է տեսնի, որ «վերևներում շատ լուրջ են տրամադրված»: Բացի այդ, ըստ Հոկտանյանի, մարդիկ պետք է իրենց վրա զգան նաև հեղափոխության դրական փոփոխությունները, որպեսզի համոզվեն, որ հիմա ավելի լավ է, քան նախկինում:

«Մինչև մենք մեր մտքում շատ հարցերի վերաբերյալ չվերանայենք մեր մոտեցումը, ոչ մի դրական տեղաշարժ էլ չի լինի: Մենք բավական նահապետական հասարակություն ենք: Եթե հեղափոխություն է արվում, նշանակում է, որ մոդեռնիզացիայի ճանապարհով ենք գնում ու պետք է մաքրվենք կոռուպցիայից: Հեղափոխությունից հետո փրփուրներ, սողանցքներ չպետք է մնան, որոնք թույլ կտան շարունակել կոռուպցիան»,- հավելեց նա:
