«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Պետական եկամուտների կոմիտեի օպերատիվ հետախուզության վարչության պետ Կարեն Կարապետյանը հանրությանը առավել հայտնի է «Շառլոտ» գիշերային ակումբի ծեծկռտուքի հայտնի պատմությունից: Հիմա էլ նա, կարծես, հայտնվել է հերթական պատմության կիզակետում: Մեր ունեցած տեղեկություններով, սույն պաշտոնյան փորձել է ազդեցիկ պաշտոնը օգտագործել անձնական ամբիցիաների համար՝ իր լծակներով միջամտելով ընկերոջ (ում բիզնեսին Կարապետյանը ոչ ֆորմալ փայատեր է) և «Պահուստ» ՊՈԱԿ տնօրենի վիճաբանությանը: 

«Փաստի» հավաստի տեղեկություններով, Պետական եկամուտների կոմիտեի նախագահ Դավիթ Անանյանի հրամանով ներքին ծառայողական քննություն է նշանակվել Կարեն Կարապետյանի նկատմամբ՝ ըստ երևույթին վերջինիս նոր Հայաստանի իրողությունները հանրամատչելի բացատրելու նպատակով:

Տեղեկությունը ճշտելու նպատակով դիմեցինք ՊԵԿ նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Լուսինե Մկրտչյանին: Նա մեզ տեղեկացրեց, որ քննությունն ամփոփման փուլում է, իսկ արդյունքների մասին կտեղեկացնեն առաջիկայում:

Հավելենք, որ մեր հավաստի տեղեկություններով, ՊԵԿ– ում նաև ներքին կարգադրություն կա, որ ով իրեն թույլ տա ՊԵԿ ղեկավարի կողմից հրահանգված պարտականություններից շեղվել կամ իրեն իր երազած տղայի տեղը դնել, ապա անկախ նրանից, թե ում ծանոթը կամ բարեկամն է, շամպայնի խցանի նման դուրս կթռչի համակարգից:
