SOCIETYՀայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանի թե Տավուշի, թե Նախիջևանի հատվածում իրավիճակը հանգիստ է: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում այս մասին տեղեկացրեց ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության մամուլի խոսնակ Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը:
Իջևան-Նոյեմբերյան ճանապարհահատվածի ուղղությամբ կարճատև կրակոցներ, ըստ Հովհաննիսյանի, եղել են հուլիսի 19-ին, տուժողներ չեն եղել: Հարցին ի պատասխան՝ արդյոք սահմանային լարվածություն կա՝ Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանն ասաց. «Ոչ, պատահական մեկ-երկու կրակոցներ են հնչել: Իրավիճակը նորմալ է, հանգիստ»,-ավելացրեց ՊՆ մամուլի խոսնակը:
Ադրբեջանական կողմը հուլիսի 13-ի գիշերը հրաձգային զինատեսակների կրակ էր արձակել Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Ճամբարակ քաղաքի ուղղությամբ: Կրակոցների արդյունքում, բարեբախտաբար, ծանր հետևանքներ չէին արձանագրվել:
Հուլիսի 1-ին ադրբեջանական ԶՈՒ-երը հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանի Նախիջևանյան ուղղությամբ որոշ տեղամասերում փորձել էին դիրքային ամրապնդման ինժեներական աշխատանքներ իրականացնել, ինչին ի պատասխան ՀՀ ԶՈւ-երը պատասխան կրակ էին բացել և թույլ չէին տվել հակառակորդին կատարել իր խնդիրը:
