Երևան քաղաքի դատախազության կողմից ներկայացված՝ պետական շահերի պաշտպանության հայցի բավարարման արդյունքում հնարավորություն է ստեղծվել վերականգնել կազմակերպության կողմից դեռևս 1996թ. պետությանը պատճառված ավելի քան 20 մլն դրամի վնասի վերականգնումը: 

1996թ. դեկտեմբերին Երևանի քաղաքապետի կարգադրությամբ ստեղծված հանձնաժողովը ուսումնասիրության էր ենթարկել «Երևան Ինվեստ» պետական ձեռնարկության գործունեությունը, որի արդյունքում պարզվել էր, որ ձեռնարկության  մի շարք պաշտոնատար անձինք, չարաշահելով իրենց պաշտոնեական դիրքը, առանց համապատասխան լիցենզիայի գործունեություն էին իրականացրել: Դրա հետևանքով պետությանը և կազմակերպություններին պատճառվել էր առանձնապես խոշոր չափերի նյութական վնաս: 

1997թ. օգոստոսի 20-ին  ՀՀ նախկին քրեական օրենսգրքի 182-րդ և 1551-րդ հոդվածների հատկանիշներով Երևան քաղաքի դատախազությունում քրեական գործ էր հարուցվել, որի  շրջանակում որպես մեղադրյալ էր ներգրավվել «Երևան Ինվեստ» պետական ձեռնարկության տնօրեն Ա. Օրդյանը՝ ՀՀ նախկին քրեական օրենսգրքի 90-րդ հոդվածի հոդվածի 4-րդ մասով, 89-րդ հոդվածի 3-րդ մասով և 184-րդ հոդվածով նաատեսված հանցավոր արարքների կատարման համար: Մասնավորապես պարզվել էր, որ որպես պաշտոնատար անձ, հանցավոր համաձայնության էր եկել մի ՍՊԸ-ի տնօրենի հետ և, հափշտակելու դիտավորությամբ 1996 թվականի հուլիս  ամսվա ընթացքում  դուրս գրելով  20.400.000  ՀՀ դրամ, յուրացրել: 1998թ. հունիսիկ քրեական գործի վարույթը կասեցվել է՝ մեղադրյալների գտնվելու վայրը հայտնի չլինելու պատճառաբանությամբ: 

2004թ. օգոստոսին Ա. Օրդյանին առաջադրված մեղադրանքը համապատասխանեցվել է գործող ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքին, և նա որպես մեղադրյալ է ներգրավվել ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 179 հոդվածի 3-րդ մասի 1-ին կետով, 178 հոդվածի 2-րդ մասի 2-րդ կետով և 315-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասով: Երևան քաղաքի Կենտրոն և Նորք Մարաշ համայնքների առաջին ատյանի դատարանի 2005թ. օգոստոսի 4-ի որոշմամբ  նրա նկատմամբ որպես խափանման միջոց է կիրառվել կալանավորումը: 

2017թ. մարտի 16-ին Ա. Օրդյանը ինքնակամ ներկայացել է ՀՀ ոստիկանություն, որից հետո նախաքննություն իրականացնող մարմնի որոշմամբ, վաղեմության ժամկետն անցնելու հիմքով, նրա նկատմամբ քրեական հետապնդումը դադարեցվել է, քրեական գործով վարույթը կարճվել և դադարեցվել հետախուզումը: 

Չնայած այդ հանգամանքնին՝ նկատի ունենալով, որ Ա.Օրդյանի անօրինական գործողությունների հետևանքով պետությանը պատ­ճառ­­վել է 20.400.000 ՀՀ դրամի չափով վնաս, 2017թ. հունիսի 29-ին Երևան քաղաքի դատախազության կողմից պետական շահերի պաշտպանության հայց է հարուցվել դատարան: 

Արդյունքում 2018թ. մայիսի 25-ին Երևան քաղաքի ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանի վճռով հայցը բավարարվել է և արդեն իսկ ԴԱՀԿ-ի կողմից իրականացվում է կատարողական վարույթ:
