ԱՄՆՀայ դատի հանձնախումբը կոչ է արել ուսումնասիրել ԱՄՆ-ում և Հայաստանում աշխատողների եկամտահարկի կրկնակի գանձումը կանխող համաձայնագիրը

Ամերիկայի Հայ դատի հանձնախումբը ԱՄՆ-ի Սոցիալական ապահովության վարչությանը կոչ է արել ուսումնասիրել Հայաստանի հետ Սոցիալական ապահովության միավորման համաձայնագիրը՝ բացառելու համար կենսաթոշակային նպաստների կրկնակի հարկման հավանականությունը, ինչպես նաև պարզեցնելու և՛ Միացյալ Նահանագներում, և՛ Հայաստանում աշխատող աշխատակիցների պարտականություններն ու իրավունքները:
Սոցիալական ապահովության վարչության գործող հանձնակատար Նենսի Բերիհիլին հուլիսի 16-ին հասցեագրած նամակում Ամերիկայի «Հայ դատի» հանձնախմբի նախագահ Րաֆֆի Համբարյանը նշել է. «Աշխատակիցներին նյութական օգուտ և գործատուների համար հստակություն ապահովելուց բացի նման համաձայնագիրը կամրապնդի Ամերիկայի և Հայաստանի միջև կապերը՝ խթանելով առավել սերտ առևտրային հարաբերությունների համար նպաստավոր պայմանները և առավել արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը միջազգային մարտահրավերների լայն շրջանակում»:
ԱՄՆ-ն ներկայում Սոցիալական ապահովության միավորման համաձայնագիր ունի կնքած ավելի քան 2 տասնյակ երկրի հետ: Միավորման համաձայնագիրը երկու երկրի միջև կնքված կոնվենցիա է, որի նպատակն է կանխել նույն եկամտի համար սոցիալական ապահովության վճարների կրկնակի հարկումը:
