Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ նախատեսված հանդիպման ժամանակ ակնկալում է հասկանալ Մոսկվայի դիրքորոշումը եւ բացատրել Վաշինգտոնի մոտեցումը: Այս մասին հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ նախագահի՝ ազգային անվտանգության հարցերով օգնական Ջոն Բոլթոնը, փոխանցում է «ՏԱՍՍ»-ը՝ վկայակոչելով Fox News-ը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ «Թրամփը ցանկանում է հասկանալ ռուսական դիրքորոշումը եւ, ինչը, թերեւս, ավելի կարեւոր է, ցանկանում է, որպեսզի Վլադիմիր Պուտինը հասկանա մեր դիրքորոշումը»:

«Եթե դրան բեկումնային լուծումներ կհաջորդեն, գերազանց է,- ասել է նա:- Սակայն, անկեղծ ասած, ամենակարեւորն այն է, որ Թրամփի վարչակազմի աշխատանքի մեկնարկից մեկուկես տարի անց այդ հանդիպումը կկայանա»:

Բոլթոնը հավելել է, որ Թրամփը Պուտինի հետ հանդիպումից առաջ չի փորձում զիջումների գնալ Մոսկվային հետ արտաքին քաղաքական հարցերում:

ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարը ՌԴ ղեկավարի հետ հանդիպումից հետո կարծիք է հայտնել, որ կան ոլորտներ, որտեղ Մոսկվան եւ Վաշինգտոնը կարող են հասնել ընդհանուր առաջընթացի: Նա նշել է, որ ՌԴ նախագահն իր հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ «շատ բարի էր եւ անդրադարձել է իր օրակարգում գտնվող հարցերի ողջ ցանկին»: Այս հարցերից որոշների շուրջ ԱՄՆ-ի եւ Ռուսաստանի դիրքորոշումները «շատ տարբեր են»: «Մյուսների դեպքում գուցե կա առաջընթացի հնարավորություն»,- հավելել է Բոլթոնը:

 

Հիշեցնենք, որ Թրամփի եւ Պուտինի հանդիպումը տեղի կունենա հուլիսի 16-ին Հելսինկիում, հինգշաբթի հայտնել են Կրեմլի մամուլի ծառայությունում: Ռուսաստանի ղեկավարի մամուլի խոսնակ Դմիտրի Պեսկովի խոսքով՝ երկու երկրների ղեկավարները կքննարկեն մի շարք շատ բարդ հարցեր, համապարփակ կերպով կքննարկվի Սիրիայի հարցը:
