Կարեն Կարապետյանը կլքի ՀՀԿ առաջին փոխնախագահի պաշտոնը

Հայաստանի նախկին վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանը լքելու է Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցության նախագահի առաջին տեղակալի պաշտոնը: Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում այս լուրը հաստատեց ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ, ՀՀԿ խոսնակ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը: 

«Ես այդ որոշումը շատ նորմալ եմ գնահատում: Կարեն Կարապետյանը հասուն քաղաքական գործիչ է, ինքն է որոշում` լինել առաջին տեղակալ, թե չլինել: Ես հարգանքով եմ վերաբերում Կարեն Կարապետյանի որոշմանը»,- ասաց Շարմազանովը:

Հարցին, թե ՀՀԿ նախագահի առաջին տեղակալի պաշտոնում ո՞վ է փոխարինելու Կարեն Կարապետյանին, Շարմազանովը պատասխանեց, որ ՀՀԿ խորհուրդն է իրավասու ընտրել կուսակցության նախագահին և առաջին տեղակալին: Այդ հարցը կորոշվի ՀՀԿ խորհրդի նիստում: Որևէ արտառոց բան չեմ տեսնում»,- նշեց Շարմազանովը:

Անդրադառնալով հարցին, թե սա փախուստ չէ՞ ՀՀԿ-ից, Շարմազանովը պատասխանեց. «Ոչ, սա փախուստ չէ: Նա` որպես կուսակցության առաջին տեղակալ, գտնում է, որ քաղաքական այս իրավիճակում ինքն այնքան էլ ակտիվ չէ, գտնում է, որ արդար չէ, որ, չլինելով ակտիվ քաղաքական գործընթացներում, մնալ այդ պաշտոնին»:

Նա հավելեց, որ Կարեն Կարապետյանի կողմից ՀՀԿ-ն լքելու որոշում այս պահին չկա, նման խոսակցություն չի եղել: Դիտարկմանը, թե Կարեն Կարապետյանը 2017 թ. խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների քարոզարշավի ժամանակ ՀՀԿ-ի դեմքն էր, Էդուարդ Շարմազանովն ասաց. «Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն էլ ժամանակին ՀԱԿ-ի դեմքն էր, բայց նա հետո հիմնեց «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցությունը»:
