Հայաստանում իշխանության փոփոխությունը չի անդրադառնա Հայաստան-Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրություններ հարաբերությունների վրա: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ, հունիսի 21-ին Հայաստանում Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրությունների դեսպանատանը լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը դեսպան Ջասսիմ Մուհամմադ ալ Կասիմին ընդգծեց, որ պատրաստակամ են շարունակելու  համագործակցությունը հայ ժողովրդի հետ: «Այս տարի ԱՄԷ-ի և Հայաստանի միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների 20-ամյակն էր: Մեր հարաբերությունները Հայաստանի հետ չեն փոխվի: Դրանք շարունակական են և զարգանում են»,-ասաց ալ Կասիմին՝ հավելելով, որ Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցած փոփոխությունները   ներքին են  և վերաբերվում են միայն հայ ժողովրդին: «Մենք համագործակցում ենք այն ղեկավարության հետ, որին ընդունում է ժողովուրդը: Մենք հարգում ենք Հայաստանի ղեկավարությանը և գնահատում ենք երկու երկրների միջև համագործակցությունը»,-նշեց նա:

 

Դեսպանը տեղեկացրեց նաև, որ Աբու Դաբիի թագաժառանգ, Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրությունների զինված ուժերի գլխավոր հրամանատարի տեղակալ, շեյխ Մուհամմադ բն Զայեդ Ալ Նահայանը շնորհակալական ուղերձ է հղել ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին՝ ի պատասխան Այդ ալ-Ֆիտր տոնի կապակցությամբ ուղարկած վերջինիս շնորհավորանքի։ Բացի այդ, ԱՄԷ արտաքին գործերի նախարարը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել ՀՀ նորանշանակ արտգործնախարարին պաշտոնը ստանձնելու առթիվ։    

 

Անդրադառնալով Ղարաբաղյան հիմնախնդրի առնչությամբ ԱՄԷ դիրքորոշմանը՝ դեսպանը նշեց, որ իրենք կողմ են խնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորմանը: «Մենք կողմ ենք, որ ցանկացած հիմնախնդիր խաղաղ լուծում ստանա»,-հավելեց նա:
