«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Այն, ինչ կատարվում է այս օրերին Հայաստանում, մի շարք շերտեր է բացահայտում: Առաջինը բնորոշվում է ռուսական հայտնի ասացվածքով՝ «Սրանք դեռ ծաղիկներն են»: Իրապես առջևում խիտ «անտառ» է, ուր ոչ միայն հաստաբուն ծառերն են, այլև վերոնշյալ ասացվածքի շարունակությունը՝ հատապտուղները: Ու ինչպես երևում է, առաջիկայում դեռ երկար ժամանակ մեր հասարակությունը ձանձրանալու առիթ չի ունենա: Բայց, կատակը՝ կատակ, իրականում այս ամենը շատ ավելի մտահոգիչ է հատկապես այն տեսակետից, որ փաստացի աստիճանաբար, դրվագ առ դրվագ պատկերանում է այն ողջ իրականությունը, որում տարիներ շարունակ ապրել ենք: Ամենաթողություն, թալան, գողություն, անտարբերություն... Մի խոսքով, հնարավոր ու անհնար այլանդակություններ: Ասել, թե իշխանություններն այս ամենի մասին տեղյակ չէին, մեղմ ասած, միամտություն էլ չէ, այլ հիմարություն: Եվ սարսափելի է անգամ մտածել, թե ինչ ծավալների են եղել անօրինականությունները, աներևակայելի ավելի շատ, քան նույնիսկ ամենավառ երևակայությամբ կարող էինք պատկերացնել, քան նույնիսկ այն տեղեկությունները, որ շրջանառվում էին հասարակության մեջ ու լեգենդներ էին թվում: Ու ամենածանրը, որ պատկերանում է, այն է, թե ինչպես են գողացել բոլորիս կյանքի տարիները, ինչպես են կողոպտել մեր ու մեր երեխաների ապագան:

Ու այս ամենը միայն կատարողների մեղքը չէ, որովհետև չիմանալն ինքնին զանցանք է ցանկացած իրավապահ համակարգի համար, իսկ իմանալն ու չկանխելն արդեն լուրջ հանցագործություն է: Այսինքն, որ հանգամանքն էլ եղած լինի, այս ամենը խորքային ուսումնասիրության կարիք ունի, հանգամանալից, բոլոր դետալներով: Հակառակ պարագայում կավելացնենք մութ անկյունները: Այնինչ նման ճոխություն մեզ թույլ տալ այլևս չենք կարող:
