ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը գտնում է, որ գազի սակագնի հետ կապված խնդիրը ներհայաստանյան է, այն չի վերաբերում հայ-ռուսական հարաբերություններին: Russian Today-ին տված հարցազրույցում ՀՀ վարչապետը նշել է, որ սահմանին Հայաստանը էժան գազ է ստանում Ռուսաստանից:
«Քննարկման ժամանակ մենք եկանք այն եզրակացության, որ սա ներհայաստանյան խնդիր է, քանի որ սահմանի վրա Հայաստանն էժան գազ է ստանում Ռուսաստանից,սակայն սահմանից մինչև սպառողի տուն գնալը՝ գազի գինը կրկնապատկվում է: Պետք է քննարկել և հասկանալ Հայաստանի ներսում այս խնդիրը: Սա չի վերաբերում Ռուսաստանի հետ մեր հարաբերություններին»,- ասել է Փաշինյանը:
Հարցին՝ արդյո՞ք Հայաստանը պատրաստվում է վերանայել գազի մատակարարման սակագինը՝ Փաշինյանը պատասխանել է.
«Իհարկե, մենք հուսով ենք ավելի էժան գազ ստանալ: Մենք հասկանում ենք, որ սա էքսկլյուզիվ գին է Հայաստանի համար: Բայց մենք կցանկանայինք ավելի էքսկլյուզիվ գին: Մենք կքննարկենք այդ հարցերը եւ հույս ունեմ, որ հաջողության կհասնենք»:
