«Ռոսսելխոզնադզորը» հայտարարել է, որ անճշտություն է թույլ տվել Հայաստանից Ռուսաստան կենդանիների ներկրման արգելքի մասին նախորդ հայտարարությունում, որում նշվում էր բոլոր տեսակի ողջ կենդանիներին: Գերատեսչության կայքում հրապարակված հայտարարությունում նշվում է, որ խոսքը վերաբերում է միայն պրիմատների դասին պատկանող կենդանիների ներկրմանը:
«Նախորդ հայտարությունն անհրաժեշտ է համարել անվավեր»,- նշված է գերատեսչության կայքում:
Ավելի վաղ «Ռոսսելխոզնադզորը» հայտարարել էր Հայաստանից կենդանիների ներկրման ժամանակավոր սահմանափակումների մասին՝ առանձնապես վտանգավոր հիվանդություններից պաշտպանվելու նպատակով: Ռուսաստանի գերատեսչությունը հայտնում էր, որ մասնավորապես, արգելքը վերաբերում Է ողջ կենդանիների, թռչունների, սողունների, երկկենցաղների եւ հիդրոբիոնտների (ջրակենցաղների) բոլոր տեսակներին:
Չի արգելվում անձնական օգտագործման կենդանիների՝ շների, կատուների, ժանտաքիսների, ջրաքիսների, ինչպես նաեւ թութակների եւ դեղձանիկների ներկրումը, բայց երկու հատից ոչ ավելի:
