«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Այս օրերին Էներգետիկայի և բնական պաշարների նախարարը էլեկտրաէներգիայի սակագնի իջեցման հնարավորությունների մասին հարցերին պատասխանելիս անվերջ մեջբերում էր, որ առաջիկայում ատոմակայանը կանգնեցվելու է պլանային վերանորոգման համար, ինչը լրացուցիչ խոչընդոտ է առաջացնում էլեկտրաէներգիայի սակագնի իջեցման հարցը վերանայելու համար:

Հիշեցնենք, որ ամեն տարի էլ ատոմակայանը կանգնում է պլանային ստուգման, վերազինման և այլ պատճառներով: Եվ իսկապես, եթե սա կարող է սակագնի վերանայման համար խնդիր առաջացնել, ապա հարկավոր է հիշել, որ «Հրազդան» ՋԷԿ–ի 5–րդ էներգաբլոկի կառուցման և մոդեռնիզացման համար ընդհանուր առմամբ ծախսվեց 465.2 մլն դոլար, այնինչ կարող էր ծախսվել այլ լուծումներ գտնելու համար, որը ոչ միայն թույլ կտար մեղմել իրավիճակը, այլև ավելի խելացի էներգահամակարգ ունենալու մասին մտածել: 

Ի դեպ, այդ տարիներին որևէ մեկը չէր հաստատում, որ նման անտրամաբանական ծախսերի հետևանքով հոսանքի թանկացման հարց է բարձրացվելու ու այն կապվելու է ժողովրդի վզին: Իսկ հիմա, երբ հազարավոր ՀԷԿ–եր են կառուցվել, և թվում էր, թե էներգետիկ հարցերն ավելի հեշտ պետք է լուծվեին և վիճակն էլ կլավանա, փաստորեն ստացվեց այնպես, որ ՀԷԿ–երի արտադրած էլեկտրաէներգիան ավելի թանկ է ստացվում, քան, ասենք, ատոմակայանինը: Հիմա էլ ազգովի ՀԷԿ–երի սեփականատերերի փողերն ենք փակվում, դրա համար է սակագինը թանկ ստացվում, բայց որևէ մեկի մտքով անգամ չի անցնում, որ այս խառը իրավիճակից դուրս գալու միակ ելքը էներգետիկ համակարգի անվտանգության ապահովման նորմալ հայեցակարգ ունենալն է: 

«Շատ կարևոր է, որ էներգահամակարգի մրցակցային դաշտն ապահովվի, քանի որ էներգահամակարգում էլեկտրաէներգիա արտադրողների՝ ատոմակայանի, հիդրոկայանների, հողմակայանների սակագները բավականին տարբերվում են իրարից: Ուստի այդ համակարգերը պետք է կարողանան միմյանց հետ մրցակցել: Բացի այդ, հարկավոր է առաջին հերթին առաջնություն տալ այն արտադրողին, ում արտադրանքն ավելի ցածր գին ունի: Եվ եթե փոքր ՀԷԿ–ի արտադրած հոսանքի սակագինն ավելի բարձր է, քան ԱԷԿ–ինը, ուստի հարկավոր է նման ՀԷԿ–երը փակել, ոչ թե անհասկանալի պատճառաբանությամբ դրանք սնկի պես աճեցնել: Բացի այդ, հասկանալի չէ, թե ինչ տրամաբանությամբ են ընդհանրապես փոփոխվում էլեկտրաէներգիա արտադրող կայանների սակագները, և ինչպես է պատահում, որ փոքր ՀԷԿ–երի արտադրանքի սակագինն ավելի բարձր է լինում, քան ատոմակայանինը»,–«Փաստ»–ի հետ զրույցում ասաց էներգետիկ փորձագետ Է. Սահակյանը:

Այսինքն, սրանք հարցեր են, որոնք պատասխանի կարիք ունեն, սակայն էլեկտրաէներգիայի սակագինն իջեցնելու մասին հարցադրումների դեպքում բոլորը միայն մատնանշում են Հայկական ատոմակայանի «պարապուրդի» օրերի պատճառած վնասը, սակայն չեն խոսում այն իրական վնասի մասին, որի պատճառով ժողովուրդը ճռռում է բարձր սակագների պատճառով:
