Մանե Թանդիլյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Սիրելի հայրենակիցներ,

Կառավարության երեկվա նիստում քննարկվում էր պարտադիր կուտակային համակարգի ամբողջական ներդրման հարցը։ Դուք տեղյակ եք իմ դիրքորոշմանը, որը ես հայտնել եմ դեռ տարիներ առաջ՝ համակարգի պարտադիր բաղադրիչի վերաբերյալ։ Նշանակվելով Աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի նախարար, իմ դիրքորոշումը հայտնել եմ պարտադիր բաղադրիչի ամբողջական ներդնումը 1 տարով հետաձգելու և հանրային քննարկումների միջոցով համակարգը փոփոխելու տեսքով՝ շահառուների համար գրավիչ տարբեր լուծումներ տալու, առանցքում ունենալով ազատ կամահայտնության սկզբունքը։ Այս ճանապարհը ևս ուներ որոշակի բարդություններ, բայց ես հայտնել եմ իմ պատրաստակամությունը այդ աշխատանքները նախաձեռնելու, հանրության լայն շերտերի հետ լայնամասշտաբ աշխատանքներ իրականացնելու՝ լավագույն և հանրության համար ընդունելի լուծումը գտնելու համար։
Երկար քննարկումներից հետո պարզ դարձավ, որ իմ առաջարկը չունի կառավարության աջակցությունը։ Փոխարենը առաջ քաշվեց այլ տարբերակ, որն էլ ներկայացվեց և հաստատվեց կառավարության նիստում։

Այս հարցը սկզբունքային նշանակություն ունի ինձ համար։ Պարտադիր բաղադրիչը չուներ և չունի հանրության աջակցությունը, և դրա պատճառները բազմաթիվ են և բազմաշերտ։ Այն ունի թե՛ սոցիալական, թե՛ իրավական, թե՛ քաղաքական, թե՛ համակարգային խնդիրներ, և առանց հանրության հետ քննարկելու, խնդիրները բացահայտելու և միասնական և ընդունելի լուծումներ գտնելու, ես ճանապարհ չեմ տեսնում պարտադիր բաղադրիչի ամբողջ ծավալով ներդրման համար։ Ես լիահույս էի, որ նոր կառավարությունը այս խնդրի լուծման նոր ճանապարհով կգնա։ Նախորդ իշխանությունների կողմից խնդիրների լուծման իմպերատիվ մեթոդները ընդունելի չեն ինձ համար։

Սիրելի հայրենակիցներ, ես դեմ եմ եղել պարտադիր կուտակային համակարգին, իմ համախոհների հետ միասին այդ համակարգի դեմ կազմակերպել եմ ցույցեր, և հիմա էլ գտնում եմ, որ կուտակային համակարգը պետք է առանցքում ունենա ազատ կամահայտնության և ընտրության հնարավորության սկզբունքը, հաշվի առնելով համակարգի ռիսկայնությունը և երկարաժամկետությունը։ 
Այս գրառումով ես դադարեցնում եմ Աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի նախարարի իմ լիազորությունները, որոնք եղել են բացառապես ՀՀ քաղաքացիներին ծառայելու գործիքներ։ 
Գործող կառավարությանը մաղթում եմ բազում հաջողություններ և հեռատեսություն՝ ի շահ ժողովրդավարական Հայաստանի։

Հաշվի առնելով այն հանգամանքը, որ ես կառավարության անդամ եմ դարձել որպես Լուսավոր Հայաստան կուսակցության անդամ, ես դադարեցնում եմ նաև կուսակցության անդամակցությունը՝ հաստատակամ աջակցելու իմ ընկերներին լուսավոր Հայաստան կերտելու գործում։

Այսօրվանից, արդեն որպես քաղաքացի, շարունակելու եմ ուշի-ուշով հետևել քաղաքական բոլոր զարգացումներին, ջանք չխնայելով հայոց պետականության կայացման համար։
